This is not an in depth guide.
You will not find mathematical ratios or complex equations on how to be pro and maxing out dps.
THIS!!! is just a quick guide so you might have an idea on how to play Riven

Thanks for taking the time to read my Riven guide. In no way this is an item for item build, since we all know that it all depends on how the game progresses. Also this is the way I play her and remember its just a guide so try to have fun with it and be creative...try other items and see how it goes for you.
Try to keep in mind that Riven is a champ that requires good timing with her skills to max out dps...so go ahead and play some customs and practice a lot.

Runes are pretty much standard on any ad champ; they are as follows:

Greater Mark of Desolation x9 - Standard
Greater Seal of Armor x9 - Standard
Greater Seal of Cooldown Reduction x9 - I choose those for the CDR; but you can get any of your liking.
Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage x9 - Now I chose these because Riven's abilities scale with ad; even her passive Runic Blade.

Feel free to use the spell of your liking. I use:

- note the improved Exhaust in the masteries for armor and magic resist reduction.

- Great spell overall; use to get in for that kill, avoid a gank or a good push...use wisely.

Early Game:

Mid Game - Core Items

Late Game Remember that getting these items will depend a lot on game progression; and you do not HAVE to get them in this EXACT order. Oh and last item is up to you; Health, Magic Resist or Armor.

This is your passive. Please note that it scales with AD. Also to maximize DPS you need to time your skill right to land those auto-attacks.

Your Bread and butter. Just because you can activate 3 times in a row does not mean you will do it that way. Get in the mix of this sill activation with auto-attacks...not to mention your other skills.

Stun with AD damage. I max this out second after Broken Wings.

Slight dash, in the direction your pointer is. Also Gives Riven a shield that absorbs damage. This shield scales with your ad.

Ultimate. Basically augments your attack damage. Also it has a second activation that deals damage in a cone. This damage is greater the lower the enemy's HP is.

I urge you to try this out....oh and have some fun while your at it.
