You're missing the

tags in your introduction there buddy.

I kinda like the build, though I would use 21/0/9 (dat Awareness ). You don't use dodge runes or boots anyway.

Can't give you a proper review cuz I'm in class at the moment, but I thought I could contribute something :)

nah, I don't like it. I used **** as a 'this guide' anyways, not to say this guide is actual ****. (lol?)

was actually just posting cause like 3 or 4 of us trollvoted part of it down this far cause Pwnzor was being a **** and not playing with us :P

(even if I didn't touch that button)

^Nighthawk, that's rude >:(

Pwnzor, I haven't looked at the guide thoroughly, but perhaps you should release a new one with all the feedback given, so that you don't start off rough :)

That would be me.

What's wrong with it?

A guy got to #1 in solo queue on EUW by maining Riven with a similar build (I'm pretty sure it was exactly the same but with an IE or something over the Last Whisper). It has decent explanations and the build is really good. Definitely doesn't deserve to be so low. Good job.

The reasoning behind taking ghostblade and Last Whisper is that Ghostblade probably has the most beneficial amount of stats that you need. Last Whisper is there to penetrate anything left and is better than Black Cleaver because Black Cleaver is PROC-BASED and you will already have done most of your damage to a squishy before you even get the third proc. Ninja tabi could work, but mercury's treads are usually better due to Riven being destroyed by CC. IE is optional and does work. The 80 AD is more reliable than BT and is considered THE carry item with the most damage. Even with IE's crit by itself it will do more damage than BT over a long enough period of time, especially if the BT is not fully stacked. Also, I fixed that AP mastery and changed it to exhaust. I overlooked that.

Okay, why not. Riven is actually my prefered champ' and there is some point i want to comment.

- You spoke about a weak early game. Maybe it's the whole team i fought who were bad, but i think Riven is one of the strongest early solo top : she deals incredible damage since the beginning, is really hard to gank with effectivness and can harass without take much damage from the most of the other solo top u can see. But it's my mind. (maybe it's the runes and the doran shield who makes the difference).

- Why do U take both ghost blade and last whisper ? Both are not that much effective... I know CDR can be funny on riven but her cd are not that much long and u said youself she had already enough mobility... so the only good things on this item would be AD and critical chance ?

- As Riven, i try to target the dps. I think u're doing the same job (u should speak about that in your guid :P) and they are not such tanky. It's uncommon to see a carry AD or AP with more than 100 armor. And in this case, i think the black cleaver is more efficient that a Last Whisper (45 red arm vs 40 pen... no, vs 34 cause of your runes and i don't speak about the bonus damage and the AS which are welcome).

- I've never tried 21/9/0. I dont think that would change much things but i'll test that.

- IE as optionnal is not that good cause u haven't enough critical chance to make it effective.

- What about elixir of Fortitude during the early/mid phase ? :P that's not that much cheap and it's funny.

- What about Tabi to counter champ like Udyr/Lee ? U lose 200 gold if u sell it at mid/late game, which is not a lot if u farm well.

I think the rest is good and viable, and sorry about my language mystakes ^^'

Just going to point out that you take the AP mastery instead of Cripple in the offensive tree, despite taking exhaust. Might want to fix that.

Also, you negate riven's early game squishiness by leveling Valor first. :D

I take the 9 points in defense in order to help out with riven's rather squishy early game, which is much more effective than the 9 points in utility in my opinion. I also take a blade against veigar because you're mobile enough to get to him early on, and blade makes it easier to squeak in a few extra kills.

Too few items IMO. You get to end game. Now what? Wriggles is only around for the free ward and, the two armor pen types you're getting are counter-intuitive.

In the matchup section, why would you take blade against Veigar? he can easily harass with just basic attacks and you can't really do much back.

You're going to get underleveled if you don't take Awareness and the time dead reduction is just a nice addition.

It's not bad enough to get a -1 but not good enough to get a +1.

21/0/9 is way better. Nimbleness is **** without other dodge chance. Awareness is 1000x more effective unless you have dodge runes and/or boots.
