So first off, im assuming you understand Hecarims kit. He has been out long enough and besides, this build is more for fun. The build is meant to give him absurd speed and powerful engage with his on hit effect stacking and nukes with his charge.

The elixers of ruin synergize with his build and kit as they allow him to make his minions charge up the lane really quickly for an awesome split push/backdoor. And the potions also allow you to wreck towers really fast. This build is designed with the thought that if you are behind or teamfights arent treating your team well, you can still pick people off with your crazy momentum and you can also split push extraordinarily well.

Dont forget that his charge is an on hit effect as well, so you can use your charges damage to hurt turrets badly. Hense the split pushing potential.
