Hey guys I appreciate the questions, but I have no comment since I haven't played with the new changes yet. I have been very busy and don't have a steady internet connection. Plus, I got a little annoyed when they nerfed Heimer's turrets and haven't played since patch 4.4. I am archiving this guide until I start playing League again. Thanks for the upvotes and constructive criticism.

Heelow Bruticus ^_^

Me have some question about the Summoner Skill OwO

After the Patch 4.5, What do you think about taking Heal instead of Barrier? :3

I was think about taking it instead because now it gives out movement speed boost, though the healing is not as strong as the barrier in early level. But the healing it gives can "out-protect" the Barrier at later level.

What do you think of it? :3

What about Chalice of Harmony? I like the mana reg for Heimer and the defensive stats too.

Dominion and Twisted Treeline are smaller maps and are quicker games. You can play more games per hour and have more champion battles per game. This allows you to practice against a lot of different kinds of champions and also lets you play a game mode that isn't as serious as Summoner's Rift.

Here is a link to the different game modes: http://gameinfo.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/game-info/game-modes/

oh I see :O
By the way, what does Dominion and Twisted Treeline can help me to improve playing Heimerdinger? :3

I never bother to play them in my life XD
And where can I find detailed info about them? OwO

Hello NommyPancake,

Thanks for the question. If you are not doing well, then you should buy Rod of Ages before buying Rabadon's Deathcap. For the end game keep Rod of Ages and do not buy Void Staff.

However, it is important to know WHY you aren't doing well. In my opinion the items don't matter as much as how you play your champion. Heimer has no escape, and is a zone control champion. If your positioning is off and you get caught, only a few items will actually help you to survive (thus the rushed Zhonya's Hourglass). In that case I would suggest practicing the champion on Dominion and Twisted Treeline since the games are quicker and you have a higher concentration of champion battles where you can hone your skills.

Heelow Bruticus ^_^

Me have some questions and me am kind of confused about your build OwO

On the top section, you have one called "Mid Game(Doing Well)", which consists of:
Rabadon's Deathcap and Void Staff

And another called "Mid Game(Falling Behind)," which consists of:
Rod of Ages, Needless Large Rod and Blasting Wand.

Assuming that I am falling behind, should I build the Needless Large Rod and Blasting Wand into Rabadon's Deathcap later???
Should I keep the Rod of Ages in the late game after full build??? Or rather should I trade it with Void Staff after I complete my build, with End Game items? :3

your turret wall hops are great but you should probably make it as a video instead, the images are a bit too tiny and cluttered

I uploaded the video, let me know what you think.

Fair enough points. As I said this build is still under construction and I don't get enough time to fully test out everything. I will probably decommission the build until season 4 as I am more interested in the new items and interactions.

Dorans ring is much better of an item than it used to be and I can see it being a solid choice for Heimer, but I dislike "wasting" money on a non-upgradeable item. I would rather just grab boots and some pots which is an investment and will still let me stay out forever especially if you get blue. Having extra movement speed to position yourself and dodge skill shots is usually pretty relevant. However, I can see Dorans being a good starting item, especially if it can be used instead of a mana item like tear or chalice.

Your point about grenade cooldown is well taken. Basically a Heimer should always have this skill up and only use it in your described situations. It is just really frustrating when you don't level it and are waiting for the high cooldown. It is probably best to just learn how to use it when it matters and level it last.

Tear of the goddess is a good item for mana regen and when it is fully stacked it can give you more than 120ap. I have never had trouble with mana when using it. It is much easier to stack the item now that he can spam rockets whenever he wants, but his long cooldowns do hurt him. Chalice is good for CDR and Magic resistance, if you can have room in your build for MR and CDR elsewhere but still need mana regen I will always go for tear before chalice, otherwise chalice is a nice one stop shop item.

DFG is an interesting item. I agree that there isn't really room in the build for it, however I do like the fact that DFG will increase your turret's damage output while Voidstaff will not. So when you get jumped you can stun, place some turrets, DFG active, rockets, ult etc, and they don't stand a chance. However, I rarely have room for the item.

Scepter is only there because it's one of the best items that Negatron cloak builds into for an AP caster. Basically I will buy negatron cloak early if they have a burst AP caster and then late game I finish building it into scepter for the ap it gives. Granted I didn't explain that and since I can't really keep up with this guide, I will probably use it more for a discussion about Heimer rather than a pure guide for Heimer.

Thanks for the in depth response, this is great feedback.
