In this ryze build you will find get high and epic burst damage, even in the early game.

From the beginning you should start off with a Sapphire Crystal for more mana, which you will need in the early game. If you have teammates who can help you with blue, then go for blue at the beginning for more minion kills!

The difference between those builds are that in the first build, you are buying a Banshee's veil instead of a Rod of ages. Banshee's veil is good if you are against a AP team.
And the other build is if you are against AD's and you dont need magic resist.

The spellvamp is for when you are using your ulti, you will get a high amount of spellvamp. That will help you in teamfights as well.

I personally thinks that Ryze is good in early game, midgame, and late game.
