I have some things that I would like to ask:
1) Into squishy enemy team comps, would it be better to run Presence of Mind and something else from Precision?
2)Why do we need zhonya's hourglass on Ekko? Doesn't his ultimate already do all of that? Wouldn't it be better to opt for a different Armor focused item? I'm thinking maybe Dead Mans's Plate?
Let me know what you think!
For 1) I would say no, because Ekko scales well enough with Items so more resources (permanent mana+regen, ability haste) are more useful and simultaneously increase his overall DPS. Though if you prefer the precision tree options you could do that.
As for 2) Zhonyas is a great pick on Ekko since his ultimate is what allows him to dive into the enemy team and onto carrys and Zhonyas is a useful tool to prolong having your ultimate up since you can just Zhonyas instead of instantly ulting out after jumping the backline.
I would not recommend to opt for any tank items (besides Abyssal Mask at best) because AP is crucial to Ekko since he has lower base damage and higher AP scalings on his abilities after his infamous tank ekko nerfs. Building tank therefore only weaken you as Ult+Zhonyas gives you very good survivability already.
Thank you for this awesome frekaing guide.
So since teleport got nerfed, i think it more comes down to personal preferance.
Ignite gives you kill pressure, take it when you wanna play aggressively.
Additionally, not only you can secure kills with it but also deal with enemy healing too because it applies grievous wounds.
Teleport on the other hand gives you so many different options.
It allows you to trade much in lane, recall and teleport back to lane without missing experience and farm. You can use it to roam anywhere on the map, help teammates or teleport to a teamfight when you, for example, splitpush. Or you use it to defend or steal an objective.
It's an overall really versatile summoner spell which is why i prefer it over ignite.
The Zhonyas Combo is pretty neat when you get chased, especially when you are low on health, because people will most likely gather around you to finish you off, so you can ult them right after exiting zhonyas.
But to be honest more high elo players won't always fall for this, which is why the Trick is so inconsistent.
You can combo your R in many ways. Not only for damaging, but for example also for repositioning, such as ulting back after you got knocked backed by Azir's R.
Also you can W the line between you and your ghost. Your ult is able to proc your W, so you can actually get the shield from your W when ulting, which is pretty useful in teamfights.
One thing that I missed in your guide is that you did not mention that
I have no other comments, especially so because you've been precise with regards to the Akali match-up. Great work!
