I like playing Ashe as support but sadly I overwrote my build, I thought I found it on mabyfire but it seems I did not.

Maybe I need to test it more and I had just no luck but if I compare it to my other build

1. I dont even get enough money for starting radiums omen, often I dont even get Hurrican done.

2. if your adc plays not perfectly like u want engaging 2vs2 he most likely will die and u often with him. Thats partialy true with ashe as support in generel, but your guide makes it kind of worse

Why, u take first boots doesnt help much... if you adc goes in u have to help u have to buy maybe a few more wards till u get the sightstone, that too slows your build.

When u have then your talisman finaly, u start frozen mallet it takes very long to get it and except a bit more health u dont get much from it, that helps not much to get kills for your adc, u depend heavily on your ulti and ganks.

The 10% more slow doesnt bring u much if your adc get killed by the two ohters in the lane because as most adcs have more damage without items. (tresh as example)

And if you are behind u have tons of slows and stuns for teamfights but if your team are behind often that doesnt matter.

U get a few free kills slowing one or two that come u to near but when their team then all engage or even if you get this 1-2 free kills (assists as support) it helps u not much.

the only thing u can give your team is slows... so in 5vs5 cluster**** its more or less 4vs5 because u do no damage.

I like Zeces Herald much more its easier to buy, u Cooldownreduction 20% lets u use your ulti more u also get some live + life steal AND your teammates that u depent on them killing the enemy more likely kill em. You also dont kill-steal with frozen malet that can happen.

I also am not that happy with Boots of swiftness, u are slow with them also they are also expensive u slow your other build and u dont get a bit armor as support that could help I think ninja tabi is best.

to be clear... even if you only give one of your team lets say the adc +10 life steal + 20 attack, he will stay longer alive and combined with his maybe more crit-stuff or own lifesteal translate this ad-bonus in much more than u getting for yourself + 30 ad even wihtout additional effects its 20*2 ad vs 30x1. Adn thats much cheaper. And if your adc dont die u dont need that much health. and if you really need it, buy for 800,- buy ruby sightstone, but with all the healing buffs livesteal and some health-items and your good kiting ability u should not be easily get bursted away.

Viable or not, this isn't really how support Ashe is played.

Major problems include putting the already gold-inefficient Frozen Mallet into your build list.

xDD Are you joking, right? I'm main ashe and she's not a support. All supports are better than Ashe, please...

I also wanted to emphasize that I was focusing on the whole slowing part when thinking about support Ashe. I would agree if you said that Frozen Mallet is not the best item on adc Ashe, because you "only" get an additional 12,6% slow out of it and there are a bunch of other items which would give you better dmg stats. BUT this is a sup Ashe guide so dealing dmg isn't the most important thing. Thats why I think Frozen Mallet IS good on her, along with maxing Frost Shot first and buying Runaan's Hurricane and Randuin's Omen ---> for maximum slow :D

I have been forced into the support role as Ashe several times. I found your guide and think it will help me immensely in those situations. I don't think Frozen Mallet is the best option as you can find better stats in an item without a slow, and Ashe already has an amazing slow.

Woopsies, I must agree with Kevbot as support ashe won't be viable in ranked unless it gains popularity thorough professional use and I don't see that happening anytime soon. I think a huge help would be to put the lore in a spoiler as most readers don't come to see your guide for the lore.

Support Ashe is incredibly fun, but only *slightly* viable. She's decent in normal, but you'd be flamed so hard and have such a scary early game in ranked. Maybe in a 5 man premade team, but it can't work in solo queue.

ok now I actually found the correct way how to calculate the slowstack . with Frost Shot level 5 and Frozen Mallet it is still a 47.675% slow. still a nice amount, right? also FM gives you some dmg and health so I think it is not a waste of gold.

hey thx a lot for the feedback! :D you just made me rethink the whole frozen mallet thingy again and i am pretty sure it does stack, but not in the way i mentioned first. so, if i am not wrong again, when the frozen mallet effect applies after the q effect it should be around a 54,5% slow. not as great as i thought first but still useable. same with randuins, i believe.

Sadly, since this is support Ashe, Runaan's Hurricane is actually used for the AoE slow, which is actually not that bad for a support. It still may be outclassed, I am not sure. And truthfully, I don't want to test it either.
