I don't think hes a good top liner hes way better on mid there is no reason why would u play him on top :)
But if u get a chance to play against squishy top then u can play him on top like on mid... but if u play against tanks then you wont be able to get some kills and u cant roam on bot for squishy adc and support :P

Good guide. What are you think about top lane zed? It's working? Because my main lane is top and zed is very interesting to me. If top zed is working, this guide is good for top?

Very interesting guide... I'm trying to get good at Zed, and this guide is very useful. However, I noted that on the masteries page, you said to get Feast for waveclear. Feast isn't a mastery... It's Cho'Gath's ult.

i play with this guy whole the time and all i can say he is the best zed i ever played even tough i am diamond 5 high elo and i haver played vs diamond zeds they are not even close to this guys skill jukes, quick burst and get away and pre teamfight positioning :))

Countered doesn't mean that its impossible to kill its just harder. In team fights u cant poke a guy with zhonya or guardian angel u need high burst so.. its just harder to kill but not impossible :P thanks for ur comment :)

Hi first! I liked pretty much your guide, your build is quite similar to mine.
Zed is my main and I love him and the videos in this guide we're awesome! I laughed with the Zed top fail cuz I always do that since the last patch.
I don't agree with one thing. You say that Zed is easily countered by Zhonya and I think not. A good Zed will poke the guy with the Zhonya and make him use it and then ult, same thing to do against Kassadins, Kayles and other champs that may cut your ult by getting invulnerable o going away, like a counter - counter tactic :P.

You start with Elixir of Fortitude? Well i usually don't start with Elixir its a bit to risky but if it works for u and u are used to play like that that's cool :) Keep it going !

Some times i start if Elixir of Fortitude to do all win level 3, and's to me works, what you think about that start item? i like so much you build, i love to play zed.
