I was just reading some of your guide and found a small typo in the "About Bard's Ultimate" section:

"One main strenght of Bard is..." It should be "strength."

Great guide overall, and I hope the owner of that new guide, who just copied your abilities section, will do something about that soon. It is funny though, he did fix this typo in his guide.

Thanks!

edit: I use "owner" for lack of a better word, and I had to head off to class.

Glad to see that soo many of you enjoyed my guide! :)

@Levite: I thought that ADC without good wave clear arent that good, but now I think its more about the player rather than the champion.
@Metal Pagan: You are totally right, at the time, I forgot about Righteous Glory, that's why it isnt listed anywhere in the guide.

I want to upload some full gameplays, but Fraps is killing my FPS. Any suggestions?

Great guide! I've been wondering which ADC's are bad lane partners with bard. You mention that not all ADC's are good lane partners for him, but you didn't suggest who they were.

Hey guys!
Thank for the positive comments, sorry that I didnt update the guide yet as I wanted, but my finals are coming close, and I have less time to play LoL right now. :( I will respond to your comments once I have more time. In the weekend I will try to make a makeshift update, as my pictures links are broken. :(

Your build here set me on my path to play Bard. I'm also plat 3, I love playing champs no one plays. He is without a doubt the most under appreciated champ there is. Nothing says "suprise buttsecks" like using journey to catapult your jungle behind the pushing bot or mid lane for an easy gank. But your jungle needs to be aware of what you're thinking. Even in plat I've assist pinged at a perfect journey spot, and had the jungle casually walk around me instead.

I was using the defensive mastery section with success, but I might try the support one next as you suggested. I also tend to skip the catalyst, as I find once you get some max mana from starting to build FH, the meeps regen a lot more. And sometimes I pass on the portal in favor of a banshees, which is an awesome item for Bard.

Anyhow, awesome guide. I learned a lot from it, and I'm glad other folks are playing Bard too!

nice guide
but about the roa, I completely agree what you say about catalyst, but is't it better to get righteous glory as a 3rd-ish item?

Hey Lanexia
Nice guide! I learned alot from it, for it isn't my first pick playstyle with Bard. Although I see the importance of being tanky with bard (he is rather squishy) I don't think it should be the key to his plays. I keep finding myself playing with only 1 or maybe 2 tanky items (mostly just frozen Heart) and just building speed (movement and attack speed!) and AP afterwards. Attack speed gives me the oppertunity to keep harrasing and punishing over-extending Enemies, slowing them so they can't get away. Movement speed is helping this, while also making you slippery like an eal, wich is excellent for baiting and ganking.(try cathing a bard with 500+ base movement speed!)

But regardless of what I think, i really want to thank you for this guide. I will try this build and hopefully it is even more enjoyeble then the way I play with bard now!

PS: sorry for the rambeling I'm just enthousiastic when it comes to bard :P

Oh my, thanks for pointing that out, it should be scaling health as you said. I wont change that right now, as I will update the guide with a new build path in the following days, so make sure you keep an eye out for that. Thanks again for the notice, and the positive comments! I really appreciate them! :)

Nice guide, very interesting! Just a quick question regarding your runes, you say in your guide "in my runes and masteries I'm looking for 4 things:

Cooldown reduction
Gold Generation
Bonus tank stats
Movement speed to roam".

Was wondering are the scaling health regain seals intentional or were they mean't to display scaling health seals? If correct then could you explain your reasoning for them as I have never come across them before on another build.
