which led to a good stock of sacrifices to the which in turn led to the nile's *buffet* appropriate feeding times of tearing flesh and carnage kept most fishermen safe from falling prey to a random croc's vicious Q's temples exist today in Faiyum /Al Fayyum

Your itemization...is really bad.

First off, starting with a ruby crystal gives you no lane presence. This is a really really bad idea because most other fighter have inherent self repair that is much better than Ren's pitiful Q and they will be starting with health potions or at least a doran's shield.

You have no hp replacement beyond your base regen and if you are culling the minions for hp regen you will be pushing the lane and getting ganked.

Second, you are rushing a frozen mallet...this is a terrible idea.
The pattern for frozen mallet costs 800g and gives 45hp and 2 ad. That's a pitiful amount of stats for the gold. Yes the slow is nice, but you are gimping your stats for it. What good is slowing the enemy when they can turn around a flatten you because you are gimped for stats?

Third, you have no CDR.

Fourth, you are building AS. AS has no synergy with Ren because all of his abilities reset his swing timer. Getting CDR on ren is getting free AS and is strictly better.

Look at the brutalizer. This is the early game item for ren. It makes his skills deal substantially more damage and allows them to be used more often. Build it before phage. Also, Ionian boots are hugely beneficial. The only time you don't get cdr boots is when they have tons of cc and then you get mercs. YOU NEVER GET A TABI ON REN.

Tabi doesn't make sense because with ren's slice/dice you can slice in cull/rp/ dice out. They never get to AA you...you don't trade melee blows with fighters as Ren unless they are on the verge of death or you are ganking. In those cases they are most likely looking to escape anyway...

Look at the ghostblade for an AS buff. It's active is all you'll need for when CDs are down. It builds out of the brutalizer...it out dps's wit's end twice over and gives mobility on this character.

So in short...drop the wits end, drop the madrids, they are overcosted items that give ren little benefit.

All your abilities have AD ratios and they all do physical damage. CDR, Armor Pen, and AD along with defensive stats is all that you should be building on Ren.
