Poppy Build Guide : Season 12 Jungle Poppy (Up-Updated) :: League of Legends Strategy Builds

Hi, I'm trying to figure out whether either of these two rune pages will fit your build. I have one that follows https://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/lasoors-pentakill-master-yi-top-lane-guide-7-17-502958# and another that uses the runes for https://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/im-the-hero-season-7-7-16-495865#

As you may guess I'm trying to use Yi and Poppy for both jungle and top lane.

I'm thinking of using the poppy build(I am the hero) rune set with your guide and build. Let me know your thoughts on that. This substitutes AD for ASpeed, All armor is "scaling armor" and dropping CD reduction in favor of MR.

What about Tiamat and Titanic Hydra? As Poppy in any position, I never feel like I can farm fast enough without the AoE and Active it gives. Tiamat is one of my rush items. I do start with its sustain component, but I feel like the main thing it gives me is to speed up my farm.

Tank you ever so much for this build! I used to think that Poppy was to hard to play period, let alone jungle! Thanks to you and this guide though, Poppy is now my pocket pick for jungler.

that many ms items look like a bit redundant, i know it's extremely important but still (consider that when i'm writing the 7.10 dead man's plate charge rate buff already happened); building some damage is good but since you apply so much pression thanks to e you could just walk towards your enemies and zone them while going full tank, and that works just fine. just a couple of opinions but this guide is really great still, good job ^^

Are you sure you didn't flip teams in jungle route part? I really think that you did but feel free to correct me if i was wrong.. :D Thx for the whole guide tho.. not only build but everything else too.. :P

EDIT: actually i was wrong.. colors are flipped in champion select but in-game those are right :D

Hey Herwood, yeah, they are right, though I admit it's a bit confusing in text format, I used to have a clear picture of the jungle map but with the changes into season 7 jungle I had to scrap the old picture and was unfortunately too lazy to make another. Thank you for the praise though!

I'm relatively new to League and going to be trying out Poppy jungle (I'm normally top poppers) now that I've seen this build. Super informative, and very well written.

I upgrade Maw usually last since the cost-efficiency of Hexdrinker is so great, when Maw drops a bit unless you really need the damage. I have not updated the guide for quite some time and haven't catched up on newest changes.

Very good guide! I prefer warrior for more early pressure, but I guess that's just me.

Thank you for the kind words Norant, I hope it works out for you, as I've written the 6.3 patch was really tough for jungle Poppy, I placed him in toptier of junglers before the patch. I've taken a break from playing the game after a LAN event few weeks ago so haven't catched up on newest patches yet, will update this if any significant changes come in Poppys way.

I don't play poppy often cause i usually play mid, but the little yordle has somehow made it through all my ap mages to get a special place in my heart, at the point where sometimes i'm happy if I don't get my lane and have to go poppy top or jungler. I was checking for jungle builds since i usually play her only on top (tbh I am quite a bad jungler), and this one really got my attention, I will try it out as soon as possible! On top of that, the guide is also well written: you sound both experienced and kind. Thank you a lot :)
