Sett is a melee engage support that traditionally built tank items, however, over the years he has seen less play as support due to the focus of Riot on buffing AD scaling and lowering base damage. For this reason, this build aims to take advantage of the AD scaling and building him as a bruiser.

Sett is a champion with long cooldowns, meaning that if we build him as tank support we will stay alive for longer but we will not be able to provide much utility due to the long CDs and we will not deal a lot of damage due to the tank build. This Sett build combines good damage (AD items) with good survivability (Health items). If they focus us, we counter attack with our W and if they do not focus us, we deal a lot of damage.

Always Flash + Ignite to have good kill potential in lane.

We run conqueror since we benefit a lot from the bonus AD, we are a punching machine that the longers it fights, the stronger it gets.

Hexflash is extremely good in lane to get bush control and get sneaky kills.

Stridebreaker is a must in Sett, it provides very good stats and the active ability allows you to stick to the target. Additionally, it sinergizes with cosmic insight rune to reduce the CD of this item.

Boots: Recently I have been experinmenting with Ionian boots. Haste is very valuable and they are pretty cheap. Considering the bruiser build is quite expensive, having a powerful low cost boots help to reach the 2 item core and further power spikes. You can also go for magic resist, armor or swifties depending on the match. This slot is flexible.

Black Cleaver is a very solid item, similar to Stribreaker, it provides health and damage. However it adds haste, which greatly increases our fighting potential as we can spam more abilities.

Overlords' Bloodmail is a great choice to follow up since it boosts our health and damage even more. Reaching this item will not happen in every game though.

Lastly, we have Spear of Shojin. This item is also very good since it provides health, damage and haste. The passive increases our damage even more.

Be ready to hit level 2 fast and flash the enemy. Follow up with E to stun the enemy and be ready to W and ignite as needed.

Once we have 6, we can flash E, then Q to get behind our enemy and R him towards our ADC/Tower/Team.

If they have an enemy with high HP (usually top laner such as Sion, Cho Gath, Ornn, etc), we can use our ult on him to Bomba their team.
