Introduction

Hello fellow Summoners! This is my first build I've created and hoping to create more for mainly the new (or lower skilled) players on the Field of Justice. This build is not going to be too in-depth but hopefully will help out many Akali users. Hopefully, any questions shall be answered on this build. Again, this is mainly for the new or lower skilled players of League of Legends!

This is only from my experience as using Akali, so please take it easy.

Summoner Spells

Main spells

Flash:
I use Flash to sometimes catch up a bit to a running away champion with low health just enough to ult and burst them down. Also helps with being chased or ganks from enemy champions. I would recommend keeping this as your spell

Exhaust:
This slows down the enemy champion and lowers their attack/magic damage for a bit. I first started with this and flash. I found it useful to lock in a kill when someone is running away. I prefer this over Ignite, just to get fed.

Other considerations

Ignite:
This really locks in the kill if your enemy champion just got away with very low health. I use this most of the time with Flash and I do not find it useful late game at all. Early game, it may help a bit.

Teleport:
I can't tell you how many times I fell in love with this spell. I've always used this when I started out in League. This is effective if you're soloing a lane (mid or top), because you can go buy items or heal really quick, and teleport back to your tower. This also helps when your whole team is pushing a lane and someone is backdooring your turret, you can teleport to that lane and defend. I would use this and Flash if I had to solo lane.

Items

Ninja Tabi:
I use this just for the dodge. Its saved my life many times in 1v1s and teamfights. I only use Ninja Tabi if their AD champs are fed and hurt. If they have an AP carry, then I'd use Mercury's Treads (which helps with magic resist and Tenacity (stuns, slows, etc).

Rylai's Crystal Scepter:
This gives good Ability Power and Health. The passive on this also helps with ganks and such. It slows down your enemy champion when you use a spell by 35% (unless its an AOE, then they are slowed by 15%)

Hextech Gunblade:
This is insane for a hybrid champion. Even though Akali's skills are AP based, her autoattack plays a huge role. Thsi gives you both Life Steal and Spell Vamp, so anything you do basically brings back your health. You can also activate it (using 1-6, depending where it is placed in your items box), to deal 300 magic damage and slow down an enemy champion by 50% for 3 seconds.

Trinity Force:
Tri Force is basically an all-around item that is very useful to hybrids. This gives AP, AD, criticals, attack speed, health, mana (useless with Akali) and adds a 12% movement speed. This also slows down an enemy champion using your basic attacks, and makes an attack after an ability equal to 150% of your basic autoattacks.

Warmog's Armor:
Even after the nerf of this item, it is still useful to gain health after every minion or champion kill. Buying this item would give you +920 health and 30 health regeneration. After fully stacking this armor by killing champions and minions, you gain an extra +350 health and 10 health regeneration. Unlike other stack items, this doesn't lose any stack items when you die!

Void Staff:
This gives 70 AP and a 40% chance of magic penetration, which comes useful to burst down an enemy champion faster.

Summary

Using Akali is a very fun experience. She can burst, she can chase, and she can carry a team to victory (depending how heavy the team is). I love Akali, and hope you new users shall love her too! Thank you for reading this build and information. Hope you find this useful and any tips for future builds in the comment section below is also helpful!
