Introduction

In the Plague Jungles, Kong ruled as king. He could wield a unique, natural form of magic and he was driven by zealous ambition. The Plague Jungles were the ideal setting for fostering his growth - he thrived on challenges and flourished in adversity. However, when he had surmounted every obstacle and defeated every opponent, he grew restless. Worried that there was nothing left to overcome, he sought counsel with the monkey sage who lived behind the Grand Waterfall. The sage told him a tale of hairless monkeys to the north who, with wits and strength, bent the world to their will. Kong was overjoyed at the prospect of such worthy competition, and he immediately set out to the north, hoping that the sage's story was true.

Traveling north, he crossed the Southern Wastes and then the Great Barrier. Unaware of the League, he arrived outside the Institute of War where he found MasterYiSquare.png Master Yi in meditation. Kong was eager to test the strength of these northern warriors, so he challenged Yi to a duel. Intrigued by Kong, Yi decided to humor him. Within moments of his first strike, Kong knew he was no match for Yi. To be the best, he would need a mentor. He asked Yi to take him as a pupil and to show him the wonders of the northern lands. In return, he would honor Yi by becoming the greatest warrior Runeterra had ever seen. Admiring his passion, Yi agreed, but only under the condition that Kong would one day teach the lessons of Wuju to a pupil of his own. In the spirit of this agreement, he renamed Kong Wukong, and gave him a weapon suited to his unusual nature - an enchanted staff that the young Doran had crafted. The weapon was an unrivalled masterpiece. After rigorous training, Wukong joined the League of Legends to fulfill his promise and show the world the true power of Wuju.

"The first step to wisdom and greatness is realizing how little you know." –- The first lesson of Master Yi

Masteries

DPS Wukong
For Wukong it is recommendable to take a rather offensive Masterytree.
Maybe you noticed that I don't take the critical strike damage Mastery I prefer the Cooldown Reduction more.
I spend the other nine points into the defensive Masteries for some durability and Health Regeneration.

Tank Wukong
As an Offtank always spend 21 points into Defensive Masteries to get more durability.
I take any damage ruducing Masteries to initiate Teamfights easier.
The Health Regeneration is very important for Wukong because in most games you will take the Solo top and with the extra Health Regeneration you can easily do that.

Jungle Wukong
As Jungler take 1/14/15 for survivability and some utility.

Runes

For runes there are many different setups but I prefer the Armor Penetration in Marks, Armor and Magic Resist in Blue for some durability in lane and Attack Damage in Quintessinces for more start AD.
But you can take more defensive Runes for an Offtank Wukong.
Armor in Marks and Seals, Magic Resist per Level in Glyphs and Health in Quintessices.
This is a pretty standard Rune set and gives you all you need to stay in lane longer.
If you want to jungle with Wukong you should buy standard Jungle DPS Runes.
Marks:3xAD 6xArmor Pen.
Seals:Armor
Glyphs:Armor
Quintessinces:AD

Jungling

Start with a Vampiric Scepter at the Wraiths. Smite the big one and kill the others with E and auto attacks.
On you first trip back buy Cloth Armor and 2 Health Potions.
Your next items are Boots of Speed and Wriggle's Lantern.
Take Mercury Boots in order to prevent yourself from getting stunned too long while ganking.
Your first big item is Trinity Force for more damage and Banshee's Veil and Sunfire Cape for survivabilty.
Your last item is Atma's Impaler.
Why don't I sell Wriggle's Lantern???
Well, a free Ward and some Life Steal.

Items

DPS Wukong
For Items it is very important to rush "The Brutalizer" first as DPS Wukong. It gives you the Armor Pen. you need to deal HUGE damage even in ealy fights. But your forst big Item with any Wukong build is Trinity Force.
Its gives you much more power and you can easily own any champs in a 1v1 fight.
For boots I go Ionian Boots of Lucidity for the CDR to give especially my W less Cooldown.
Your next item is Youmuus Ghostblade for the Armor Pen and the nice active ability.
Now you should buy a Bloodthirster and Guardian Angel + Banshee's Veil for some durability in Teamfights.

Tank Wukong
You should buy Dorans Shield first and after that Heart of Gold and Mercury Boots.
Your first big item is Sunfire Cape and after that Trinity Force.
For durability i recommend a Banshee's Veil and Guardian Angel.
To complement the Build I take Atma's Impaler to get more Damage + survivability.

Jungle Wukong
Start with a Vampiric Scepter and on your first trip back take a cloth armor and 2 health potions.
On your second trip back buy Boots of Speed and Wriggles Lantern.
Mercury Boots are very nice for a jungler and then Trinity Force.
For survivability you should go for a Sunfire Cape and a Banshee's Veil.
Atma's Impaler round your item build off.

Skill Sequence

As DPS Wukong it is recommendable to max your E first in order to get a lower Cooldown and the ablity to chase the enemies more easy.
But as Offtank Wukong you should max your Q first to make your damage output more efficient.
By the way skill R whenever possible.
As Jungle Wukong You max E first then Q and last W.

Summoner Spells

For Summoner Spells you should take Flash and Ignite.
I think Exhaust would fit too but I like Flash and Ignite most.
Take whatever is necessary.
For Junglers: Smite and Flash IMPORTANT!

Unique Skills

His W spell is very unique and very good to play a trick on the enemy team.
It can be used offensive and defensive.
Most people take the defensive way to use it but the offensive one is much more funny to destroy anybody in 1v1 fights.

Farming

Wukong is a great farmer.
Just youse your E to hit the caster minions and then one auto attack on each to kill them.
Bigger minion waves can be killed with your ultimate.
But this is not recommendable.

Summary

All in all Wukong is a strong Champion and can take many different roles and shines in each role.
Try him he is very funny to play and don't rate this guide too bad. It's my own opinions and you can say whatever you want I won every game with him and tried each build some times and I KNOW that this is a good guide sop try it and don't rate it before reading the whole guide and tested it.
