I play Vladimir as a mid/solo top tanky AP carry. Vlad has high damage output and around 4000 health in late game.

Pros
- A good AP carry
- Tanky
- Good at farming
- A strong fighter
- Just drain all day long :D
Cons
-bad early game
-weak at lanning
-too many champions counter him
-dont have a good cc spell

-AP and magic pen for early game harass and drain
-for seals, you have many different choices. I get magic resist seal for only early game. It is not worth it sometimes.

-Starting item Amplifying tome and health pot.
-Sorcerer's shoes in early and mid game for magic pen. when you get void staff, sell it and buy Ionian boots for cooldown reduction
Will of ancients - an amazing item on vlad which makes you drain more with transfusion, also allows you to heal off minion waves by casting blood tide.

- Vladimir's passive: Crimson pact, gives you 1.4 health for every 1 ability power and 1 ability power for every 30 bonus health (health and AP you gained from it does not stack)

take heal if you play defensive
take ignite if you play offensive(ignite works well with Vlad's ult)
