Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hello to everybody, this is my first guide and I wanted to dedicate it to the first hero I purchased in the game, excuse by bad English; I´m Spanish tough I'll do my best.
Why to pick Silvir
Silvir is a very fun hero but not a very popular one, why?
Massive damage with her Boomerang Blade.
Great owning minions == lots of cash.
Important support with her ultimate (specially with stak's fervor)
Only 450 IP
Extremely Low Hp
Until lv 6 evasion is not so easy
Silvir will always be one of my favourite heroes, with her boomerang you can hit very hard y an very long range twice and combined with Ricochet all the enemy minions on your lane are going to disappear giving you fast xp and a lot of gold.
: I find this skill vital, boomerang is a brutal strike but it´s worth a lot of mana, specially early game, there's nothing worse than to see a 200hp hero running next to you and not being able to one shot him.
: Silvir is going to have a lot of vamp and spell vamp, thought it can be useful in early game
: I only recommend it on 5v5, 3v3 is such a small map that is not necessary.
: Great for chasing or for running, I like it
: Great for killing enemies with a lot of life steal (specially for killing warwick)
Fleet of Foot (Pasive)
Increases Sivir's dodge chance by 10/15/20/25% while moving.
Sivir hurls her crossblade like a boomerang, dealing 60 / 115 / 170 / 225 / 280 (+75% of ability power) Magic Damage to the first unit and 10% reduced damage to each subsequent target.
Cooldown 9 seconds|Cost 80 / 90 / 100 / 110 / 120 mana|Range 10000
Toggle: Sivir's basic attacks will bounce to 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 additional target(s), dealing 22% less damage with each bounce (only the first hit procs item effects).
Cost 6 mana per attack|Range 20
Creates a magical barrier which blocks a single enemy ability used on Sivir. Lasts up to 3 seconds.
If an ability is blocked by the shield, Sivir regains 125 mana.
Cooldown 28 / 24 / 20 / 16 / 12 seconds|Cost 75 mana|Range 20
On The Hunt
Grants Sivir and nearby allies 25% movement speed and 25 / 45 / 65% attack speed (half for allies) for 15 seconds.
Cooldown 90 seconds|Cost 100 mana|Range 1200
Chalice or harmony: This is vital and you´ll need it for being able to use Ricochet or you´ll dry out your mana before you notice.
Ninja Tabi: Is tempting to get el attack speed ones or magik penetration but between the dodge runes and her passive you´ll have higher probability to get an extra 10% movement speed (from the defense masteries) and be able to run away from danger easily.
Stark´s Fervor, it´s very tempting to get Malady but remember she is a support hero, if you combine the stats of this object with your ultimate you´ll be giving a lot of attack speed, life steal, movement speed and life regeneration, it´s really worth to see five enemy heroes disappear in a 5v5 mid encounter and then push to their base.
The others are just a suggestion.
How to play silvir.
For a start I don´t recommend to go solo, stick to an allied hero (if he is a tank or a melee even best) and let he be between you and the enemies.
Push with your boomerang to keep the enemy away from the minions and kill some by the way. Get your first skill points but NEVER activate Ricochet until you get the chalice or you´ll spend all your mana (something like Ashe with her frost arrows)
Mid and late game:
For your better sake try not to go solo, you are a very low health hero who does a real lot of damage so they´ll try to gank you and kill you first, stay in the tale of the team and throw the ultimate at the first seconds of combat or for taking down a tower before they get there to defend.
If they gank you use everything, with your ultimate, ghost, the dodge (combined with the movement speed from the mastery) you are likely to escape in one piece. Though you can take an enemy down very easily.
This is my way of using Silvir, hope you liked it and please feel free to comment and criticize (but please make it constructively)
