I am gonna make this guide sweet, awesome and simple the stuff that YOU need to know to be destroying the battle field like a BOSS. You must also take note that Skarner the way I use him is always as a harasser and always on my opponent's space there for you need to always have map awareness for this guide to work properly for you. Well with that being said my fellow Skarners I shall be taking you under my wing as you read along.

The Runes I have chosen for this guy is self explanatory you will be dishing out loads of damage as game goes by and you will be having a better strength scaling as game continues. This build is an AD build for Skarner and its very important that you can hit as quickly as possible to refresh your Q to do extra damage to stack on top of what your currently doing.
REPLACEMENTS
If you do not have these runes available to you the best runes I would suggest would be...
Marks - Armor penetration/flat physical dmg
Seals - Armor/dodge
Glyph - Magic resist
Quintessences - Armor penetration/flat physical dmg
REMEMBER these are just replacement runes which will give you more survivability in lane and deal decent amount of damage for a certain period of time but just know that its not the the mind set I have put into this guide

The masteries I have chosen was mostly chosen because I wanna concentrate on the burst of damage that skarner will be dealing while giving the opportunity to give you a bit more freedom with either flash or ghost and of course a point in Utility Mastery to be able to keep the red and blue buff a bit longer!

Like I said for masteries I gave the user the chance to decide which they prefer using ghost or flash, I personally prefer using flash since at times your opponent might flash over and you must catch up to get that last hit kill.
If you decide that Ignite does not work for you and exhaust does you can always switch those 2 but Ignite would come in handy more often to get that kill down quicker

I have given you my thoughts and reasons to choose certain spells or runes, as the week goes by I will be updating with more in-dept explanations on my reasons and options for items and when to adapt in certain situations.
