Sona is one of the best support champions in the game and can always turn the game around with a good Crescendo. Sona really focuses on positioning making sure you can damage and keep your team alive.

Maxing out Heal should always take priority over your Nuke because Sona is very dependent on her team. Remember that her aura give armor which is a big life saver in fights especially in lane phase fights.

Sona is one of the best champ that helps her allies sustain in lane, while dishing out nukes and pokes. Of course she is not the best compared to Soraka. When playing Sona you have to remember that you are squishy so positioning is important and do not spam valor to harass because Valor doesn’t do that much damage at lvl 1 (45 dmg at least). When you can safely poke enemies with auto attacks do it and remember to use the brush. “The more life they take the higher chance of death”. Your spells are always on Heal because you want to keep your lane partner alive. Be aware of the enemy jungler by using CV and watch mid to see if he needs a Heal (50% below) you should only leave the lane when you know your partner can solo it and your Heal should be at 3. REMEMBER Keep wards up. There should be at least 4 wards on the map placed. ( 2 on the River 2 on jungle that have potential ganks).

Sona should never initiate with Crescendo. It is usually a follow up Ultimate for more CC or interruption on enemies initiated on your team so you can throw them off for 1.5 second while your team CC is ending. Sona should always be at 600 range away from the enemies because you do not want to get caught dead first in any team fight. Sona should always be spamming Nukes (700) and Heals (900) and should not auto attack (550).
