Those who take such a thing to the top lane never think about the fact that the team loses a potential tank / bruiser / initiator, such a choice can destroy your game at the peak stage.

When you pick Fiora, you are also sacrificing a potential teamfight tank. Aphelios isn't like other ranged tops who play like regular adcs. Tophelios aims on creating pressure on the map via splitpushing

I feel like Conq would be good with this. I ran it in a norms draft first timing aphelios every and took him top bc I thought I had an akshan support. It actually went pretty good and I was into a vlad

Conqueror seems good, you're sacrificing early game burst for mid to late game fighting potential. Can be a good option into an easyish matchup

Is hullbreaker still good in this build after the nerfs?
and can it be replaced by something like maw of malmortius or any bruiser items?

I haven't actaully tried it yet, but it still seems like a good item due to it's tower damage. Another thing is that deaths dance is really good now because it helps against magic damage too. but generally I would still pick hullbreaker 2nd or 3rd because of the pressure it provides.
