Nice work, lots of text though, but considering all the markup you did makes it non-tiring to read. Haven't played as yet, but seeing how "HOLY S**T" he is during teamfights, no wonder if he becomes immortal with this guide. !? HOW DO WE KILL THIS THING??

was reworked this patch so I'm not sure if it's still good or not (haven't played top on this patch yet). I'll update the runes as soon as I figure out what to run for the secondary tree. :P

has probably the most satisfying engage in the game so he's really fun in ganks and team fights. Hope you like him! :)

Finally got this one updated. I'm shelving the secondary page for now. It's fun but it feels like a win-more strategy. Could be useful still if you're going to dominate lane (easy matchup) and try to snowball by ulting every time it's up. is more reliable in most cases due to the higher sustain though.

Also made some edits to the build and organized the cheatsheet a bit. Added as a situational late game option.

Great guide! I like the glacial malphite themed visuals! I just want to ask what you think about malphite jungle. Especially AP Malph. I have been playing with runic echoes -> probobelt -> lichbane and predator as keystone rune. It may seem weird, but it was surprisingly strong and fun!

I've done some Malphite jungle in the past (after all I'm a jungle main and I like Malphite :P). It's fairly okay but I always found the early game to be pretty lacking. Didn't like being so weak and ult reliant so I always ended up going back to the top lane with him.

Can't say I've tried him AP as a jungler tbh (with no less!). AP Malph works decently well in mid so I could see it being all right in jungle. I probably won't play him much in that role simply because I prefer other champions, but maybe I'll try it out sometime. Thanks for your comment. :)

Haven't played the big Rock thing in a long time, seeing this guide makes me want to try. Both tanky and ap are included so I'll try both. Should offer me some fun moments.

Worth noting that while this guide contains an setup, I don't have an AP build included because I don't think AP Malphite is as reliable as building tank.

Hmm I don't want to come out with my Malphite guide now because it's nothing close to this lol!

but on a serious note really good job as usual Psi everything is easy to read and I'm always surprised by how much you can fit into each section while providing good info rather then filler stuff, also I really enjoyed the glacial theme as that's my favorite skin for him.

You can pretty much blame that on me since I'm slow as heck when it comes to formatting these things :P. He sent it to me like a month ago but I haven't even actually started on it lol. Really nice art and stuff on the guide tho, formatting is suuuuuper clean :D

I'm happy you covered both of Malphite's main playstyles early game in such detail, and that you included the information you did for middle and late game. Putting in information like "Be sure you're clearing waves furthest away from the objectives, because you're the one with teleport" might be obvious to you, but making sure to add that in there shows you really care for the reader.

+1 Keep up the great content. I can't wait to read the Matchup Section :)

Not gonna lie, the reason I knew to include that is because it really annoys me when I'm not top lane and my bot lane keeps going bot when baron is up or my top lane just stays top all game. REEEEEE

Great guide with a very nice layout, coding and design.
Arcane comet so +1 !
Exquisite ability chapter with super in-depth details and clear tips.
Nice skills order explanations covering 2 builds at the same time (<3 the comet one !)
Lots of items but coherent and well explained item choices and uses.
Crystal clear early warding best options.
Great mid game advices and strategic subtlety, very useful for any champions in fact.
