I don't know, it takes alot of time and effort to create the guides to the point where I want them to be and maintaining them does too. Is Tahm useful? Sure, you can play him in 10.6, but there are definitely stronger supports aswell as of now. If you want a full in depth talk about it consider joining my streams on https://www.twitch.tv/swelteringmuffin or the Discord community https://discord.gg/RM23954
Cya around!

I definitely can ;D and I will! I haven't played him in a while and today I played him outta the blue in ranked :p went 2/0/23 aswell XD I've made a note for it. I'm busy with things the next two or so weeks but I'm pretty sure after that I'll work on it and have it up quickly after, expect it in the near future ;D
Thanks for your request and glad the Tahm build works for you c:
can you make a good build for bard? <3
Have a nice day.
The reason I pick this mastery is because it also makes your Elixirs last 10% longer (which I'm buying late game).
I don't take the Assassin mastery because Tahm is a tank, meaning you'll be tanking whilst your teammates deal all the damage, and if there are teammates nearby this mastery doesn't activate.
I also don't take Runic Affinity because the amount of times you steal blue/red buff (or take rift herald/baron/5th dragon) is pretty low.
Hope that explains why I took this mastery, take care :)
Thank you

Short version: in laning phase poke with Q, if being pushed in swallow during Q combo for safe waveclear, roam when your lane is pushed but your mid lane needs help, get wards down in the river or between enemies blue buff and gromp while making your way to mid, communicate with jungler to setup your ult for a good flank.
My advice would be to try and find opportunities where you can poke your enemies with your Q from range and try to take as less damage on the retreat. Your Q does quite alot of damage and doesn't take too much mana. Your mana regen mastery will regen more mana the lower your mp is. So it's a good thing to keep trying to harass your enemies. Your Ancient Coin will sustain your health back up when staying in minion death range. Try to save your W for your adc when the enemy jungler gets too close or just overall preventing your adc from taking too much damage from mispositioning.
If you're being pushed in (and your adc and/or you are low on health) you can still swallow a minion from range during your Q to waveclear it and defend your turret.
It's also nice to time your 1st or 2nd back (depending on how well laning phase went) to get your Oasis completed so you have those 4 wards and bring safety to your lane and some in the river if given the opportunity/not being too much pushed into your turret.
Roaming is something you best can do when you have wards available so you can place down 2 or 3 on the way to mid (which is already a success) your enemy mid laner should be pushed into your mid turret (so their champion is around the centre of mid or slightly passed the centre) so it's harder for the enemy to get away or having to burn flash. It's always good to let your adc know you're going to roam/ward and fall back ping them if you think they're pushing too much. Also try to make it not too obvious (so enemy champions/minion wave doesn't see you going towards the river).
If you're lv6 you can try to communicate with your jungler to ult together into your pushed mid lane or your own bottom lane. The way you use it is you ult slightly behind the enemy, not too close or they will outrun you but not too far either or they may choose a different escape path. Try to choke their pathing and be aware that the enemies sees your ult location for about a second before you appear there.
Have a good day :)
The reasons I choose Oasis above Equinox are the following:
- Your team has to be pretty organized if you want to proc the gold income from your Equinox passive stacks, which most teams aren't (everyone blows up minions before you can even try)
- Oasis gives a nice amount of mp regen which is the only mp regen you have in your build beside the one from your mastery, which is pretty useful
- Oasis gives a nice early 10% cdr which allows you to spam your skills faster for more cc
Equinox does give you more hp and thus more damage, but what Oasis provides is more useful, it's more gold efficient.
Take care c:
Eye of Oasis provides some mana regen, which is useful by no necessary. It gives little bit more health regen, plus "safe" gold and healing which don't require you to approach the minions.
Eye of the Equinox gives you healing for your team, a little bit of pushing/wave clear power, the ability to spit minions around with less fear of stealing farm, and the option to smack a minion out of the way before firing the tongue. It also provides +300 HP. Thanks to your E and R, +HP effectively grants you bonus damage and regen, in addition to being strong in its own right.
The way I play Tahm I find the boots not that necessarily early on. Since your Q is the best to max first your slows will be very strong. You can counter alot with your Q and therefore not needing the boots just yet in my opinion. Also Mercury's I find pretty expensive, I'm pretty sure Tahm can soak enough damage and live without needing that tenacity just yet.
This movement 'sacrifice' for tankyness early on also is a great way to bait enemies. Also, like I mentioned in my guide, Tahm is a tank. His strength comes from his passive on his ult, building HP, making him not only tanky but also dealing loads of damage. In my opinion tanks aren't suppose to always be that mobile (you can see it in other games too), I mean they are there to soak up damage for the team whilst your team kills stuff and be a crowd control god with slows and your swallow.
But if you feel the need you could probably build Boots of Speed, before completing Warmog's/Mallet, as long as you rush Oasis, since that item generates loads of gold and gives great vision.
Take care :)
Random announcement: fixed back the masteries from cunning tree to what it was, ever since precision got updated it messed it up.
Also feel free to ask me any questions if there are any :)
Take care!
