Wouldn't gp/10 yellows be a better option than ap yellows? A support would benefit much more from extra gold.

Also, as a support build you should probably spec more into the utility tree to get the 2gp/10 mastery along with cooldown reduction.

Your item build is very expensive for someone who is supporting. I'd suggest getting shurelya's earlier.

A lot of ppl make that mistake i think. Support exists only becuase the map is made to feed 3 ppl ( 3 lanes), 1 medium ( jungler, who relies on ganks to feed more then farm). the fifth player needs to hang on, help the others and find his way with money, while he doesnt farm. Thats why he supports.

So getting a final item from gp/10 very soon is a big gold loss. I mostly finish boots+ 2/3 items before upgrading any of th gp/10 items. that way the small advantage at early game is swapped by a bigger advantage of having a stronger support at mid / late game. ( this is less true for genuine supports, as they keep there distance. For duo bot tanks, this is very important, as tanking is very hard with low income..)

Only reason to change gp/10 items ealry is if y lane is losing hard, or winning hard, and there wont be a mid/late game, then you can upgrade it early, so y maybe make a difference..

But i agree on the gold seals and quints, use them both on duo bot tanks. They mean a lot. At start y need to be a bit more defencive, but you scale much better late in game, becuase y can follow much better with your gold income.. ( same reason as why not finish gp/10 items early, tanks tank bad in balanced games if they have bad gold income)

I thought about that too, but with just those two gp5 items and the quints. I really don't find myself starved for money. If the game gets to 40 minutes I can easily have all 6 of my items. The tankyness that you get out of Rylai's plus the additional cc in my opinion make it more valuable to you as a support tank at that stage of the game. Granted, ap yellows can be swapped out, I think if you were to do it, it would be better to swap for armor yellows. I have had HUGE success with this build as main tank and support.

Just give it a shot. :) I'll try to post some endgame screens when I get a chance.

You are suppose to be a support tank, so shouldn't you take at least either Shurelya's Battlesong or Locket of the Iron Solari first, before any Damage items?
