I suppose the "poor AP scaling" is somewhat over exaggerated in the guide, I'll admit that. Even so, his scalings are relatively on the low side for a mage while his base damage is quite high, and as a support you generally won't get enough magic penetration to make use of what little AP you'll build. This is why I don't recommend getting AP on support Vel'Koz. It is certainly doable though, especially if you're ahead. A simple Void Staff will boost your damage significantly, but that's an item slot that could've been used to help your team.

As for the "don't get to choose"... I concur. It's not the best phrase to use to convey the message. What I meant to say there is that as a support you should prioritize your team in your itemizations before going for things that you want. Of course you get to choose, but it is up to you to pick the item that will benefit your team the most.

Thanks for the comment!

looks good overall

items section is almost there. half of the items explain the item on support velkoz (good) the other half explain them on when a support buys them (not good.)

two major statements i disagree with:
1. velkoz doesnt scale well. wait what? are you kidding me? he has over a 2.3 aoe nuke + tons of true damage AND he gets slows and knockups with that kit. sounds pretty scaling to me

2. as a support you dont get to choose. nope. still get to choose.

other than that it looks pretty accurate.

I suppose emphasizing the kiting aspect of the MS quints was rather silly in hindsight, but I still believe that it is the best choice for support Vel'koz. This is because, as a support you will be roaming a lot for vision control and assisting allies. Travelling faster is therefore highly beneficial. Aside from that, while part of your task is dealing damage, as support Vel'koz you relegate that function to your passive, thus AP is not prioritized.

About zeke's herald, yes it is not efficient on Vel'koz, but as support Vel'koz you should build whatever your team needs most as you yourself function just as well with or without items. The only stat you might want to have is CDR, and zeke's herald provides that in addition to its aura. So, if you happen to be in a team with 2~3 autoattackers, taking it may be a sensible idea even if you yourself cannot utilize it fully.

Visual enhancements will come with time, don't worry.

Good guide there. Perhaps could touch on more practical means of using your skills during different phases of the game. Also, I do not think Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed really suits vel koz well. As a mage, first you do not have to kite and the reason of patching up his weakness isn't exactly convincing. If it is just to speed one up, same goes for nautilus, malphite, and many more.

Zeke's Herald isn't really gold efficient, is it?

More visual enhancements please.

Will upvote when I'm allowed to.

Right, here I go, my first guide. I am ready for your comments, however harsh it may be. However, it would be great if you would elaborate on the mistakes I make, and I will really appreciate a detailed feedback.
