This is my Swain build I hope everyone else can enjoy as I have. If you are going to give it a bad rating atleast try it out plz. Thank you and Here is all the reasons I personally love this build. Well anyway this is my second build I hope everyone enjoys it. i know i'm a noob. xD I hope this is somewhat readable first time I used the shortcut things.

I went with Magic pen Marks because in early game that little bit helps more than most people would think.
The rest are AP because with that much AP at the start of the game you can lane forever because the damage you do is out of hand. You will hit lvl 3 and getting kills will be super easy.

For the masteries i went with 9/0/21 because Swain needs alot of mana to spam his abilities. Not to mention the mana regen to lane forever before you really have to go back for gear.

Doran's Ring and health pot first because the AP from the ring and mana regen is nice for laning. The health pot obviously so if you take a little damage you will be fine xD.

Sorcer's Shoes next because the magic pen helps alot to increase the damage that gets through, and of course you need to get around somehow. You can go with the CD reductions boots but I usually dont just because I like alot of magic pen.

Mejai's Next. I only suggest this if you are doing good otherwise you won't get any stacks. I love it my team is dominating and i see half the other team using Mejai's, Sword of The Occult and Leviathan. Knowing that they will never get anywhere with it. Anyway the AP this item gives you is amazing and goes great with your next item.

Now you need to get Rabadon's Deathcap. This is the must have item for ALL AP champions. There is not one item that can compare with the AP this things adds up to.

Now you need Archangel's Staff this is an amazing item for him because you get alot of Ap from it and alot of mana. The extra mana allows you to practically live in your R ability.Not to mention what's more annoying than a **** ton of dmg and life steal?

I go with Rylai's Crystal Scepter next mainly because the slow if the stun doesn't last long enough for the kill but the health is very nice at this point in the game as well.

If the game is still going at this point i get Rod Of Ages. You really can't go wrong with this item. It has health, mana, and AP. Now most ppl would say 'Well why don't you get this item earlier because the effect it has?' I don't because I never get that far in the game anyway and at this point you probably don't need the Ap you are just getting it to piss the other team off some more. It's really just a personal choice you can switch it if you want.
