wow! never thought Tahm could possibly go jg :D I did some tests and I loved it!

but I saw some flaws, for example:
- Tahm is extremely slow, wouldn't mov. speed quints be better for him since he is going jungle?
- I believe chilly smite work wonderfully for Tahm, making it easy to deliever a Q or W, even staking his passive for more CC... But couldn't Devourer also be a good idea for enchant, helping him cleaning his camps and stacking his passive upon enemies? even when it becomes sated and you stack the passive even faster, don't ya think it would be viable for tahm?
- Also I believe Cinderhulk suits the best for Tahm... but wouldn't titanic hidra bosts his offensive power even more since it also benefits from his maximum health?

I loved your guide, but I believe you could improve it for other possible ocasions that it might appear in a battle :D

I have been trying this out and so far it is amazing to go into the jungle with Tahm. With his W it is east to clear out the camps of the smaller monsters and focus the larger ones while his E passive keeps him at high health to the point if the enemy jungler invades you more than likely have enough health to either kill them, escape, or hold them off long enough for your teammates come help you. Also I have found he is not as mana hungry as you might think which makes it really easy to let your teammates take the red a blue buff. Overall great build :D.

This looks like a good start, but I don't believe Tahm has place in the jungle. The only thing he would be good at is clearing camps, he is too dependent on specific conditions to consistently gank effectively.

First of all, without Movement Speed, Tahm is very slow at roaming from camp to camp or getting into a distressed lane. He has little mobility to be roaming the map all the time unless he has Boots of Mobi or Swiftness (both of which could work if you're focusing on tanking) and or Move Speed Quints. His Q range is good, but what does that mean if he struggles getting into position to use it? I can already see how many support champions can completely shut down his ganks by either giving mobility to their carries, or depriving Tahm of what little mobility he has.

Relatively, Tahm without sufficient mobility has an extremely hard time ganking lanes that are properly warded (with or without his ult). In every game I've gone against a Tahm jungle (which has only been 6, but the flaws are glaring) he simply acts as either an annoying assister or as a peel that works through presence rather than tactics. What I mean by that is, depending on which side of the map the Tahm jungle starts on, he either becomes useful for helping his carry that is pushed back, or he acts as a peel by making the enemy carry fall back once they see him galumphing into view. If Tahm starts on the right side of the map (the original "red team" side) then he is able to gank the bottom lane ok, but not the top lane. This is because he's able to use the tri-brush at bottom lane if the "blue team" is pushed to the red turret, without being hit by the blue turret. Whereas he cant use the brush by the blue turret at top lane without getting hit.

That being said, his bottom lane ganks will still be weak, especially against champions like Morgana, Janna, Karma, Alistar, Bard, Cho (lol), Annie (stun up), Kayle, Lulu, Lux, Nami, Sona, Soraka, Vel'koz (lol), and even Zilean; basically any champion that can provide mobility to their carry or devoid another champion of their mobility.

Example: Janna, Karma, or Morgana are supporting... Lucian, in bottom lane. They are pushed all the way up to your bottom lane tower, so your team requests a gank. Lucian is a little less than half health and your team's support is low on resources and your carry is low health. The enemy bottom lane has the river warded and their tri-brush warded when you come waddling in for the gank through the tri-brush. Janna will see and prep her Q to peel you, W to stop enemy ADC or you, and E in case things get hairy. They simply have to make a break for the river to escape. You try to come in, but are knocked up by Janna's Q. Lucian makes a break for the tri which you head back to, to head him off. From there, Janna just needs to shield and W, while Lucian just E's past and kites you; they make it to their turret safely.

Now Morgana: Same scenario, different tactics. Morg Q's you on coming in (saving her ult for if the enemy adc and support try to get in for a kill). Even if they decide not to go for the river escape, they still have flash, heal, and exhaust at their disposal.

Now Karma: Ult+E for mobility while Karma Tether's you to keep you from chasing. Karma's E also lets them dodge your Q.

Of course you can easily Q+Devour a minion and spit it out to slow and stack, but again, Karma will E to dodge, Janna will Q to peel further assaults, and Morg will simply Shield to negate the slow. I could use more examples, but that's a lot of space.

I'm focusing a lot on bottom lane, but top is just as weird, too (although admittedly not as rough as bottom). Then if Tahm starts at the blue team side, he cant use the pincer tactic; he is forced to gank from the river. In this case the same scenario takes place, only this time the bottom laners just need to take a straight shot back to their turret using the wall brush as cover.

The best way to gank for Tahm requires using up his ult to either sneak into an unwarded brush, or taking either the top lane or mid lane champion with them to bottom lane for a team effort. This is a great tactic, but sets his ganking potential back until the ult is back up.

These are just my personal thoughts based on the limited experience I've had with Tahm and against Tahm in NORMALS. I'm not good enough or well knowledged in ranked play yet to have a fair say, but I think I have some pretty good points. If I made wrong assumptions or points, let me know, I'd love to see how Tahm can take a new role.

Edit: Just changed the wording a bit

Can you offer tips exactly on HOW TO gank with him. I find that i cant do mcuh unless my lkaner goes in first with say a stun or something. Or im forced jsut to not actually gank but appear in alne and put preasure and force them under turret.
