You don't want sheen on gnar to begin with though. Other options like Black Cleaver are far superior.

Why tri force? u have 400 gold wasted, like u dont need mana, so would it be better to get gunblade or other items?

He wants a sheen upgrade, and that's kinda hard to get without wasting some gold on mana

Really great guide! i love GNAR but could never get the build right, and would always feed, i could start BOTRK, or TRI but would always feed lane. then started Sunflare or spirt (tank item first) and now im dominating lane and pushing tower first and winning the lane. very good guide and a most read for GNAR serious or normal games.

Good to hear, On a side note at 40% CDR you can easily stack Hyper via Boomerang throw.

To be honest i thought about Zeke when i looked at what was giving AD and CDR .

Let's look at numbers (from the wiki) :

"Zeke's Herald is 101.6% gold efficient when alone.
With four allies, its value is increased by (550+720)*4=5080, giving it a value of 7670g, and a gold efficiency of 300.8%."

You see that this item is worth it even if you're alone , but it gains maximum gold efficiency when surrounded by allies that will be able to use the aura ! It's a very good pick in AD comps and when you are teamfighting alot , but it will lower your dueling potentiel , so be careful about your strategy . I would skip doran stacking if i was building it because of vamp scepter .

Remember this game is about how you will effeciently spend your gold on top of having the more gold you can ;)

Concerning your Runes , i would say i'm ok with that , CDR offers much more to GNAR in terms of utility than ArPen (for obvious reasons) . You could aswell take CDR in blue if you face a team with a low magic output. I also think CDR is the best stat for sustained dmg , when arpen is really good for that all-in burst at level 3 and 6 :)

You could also take an early brutalizer to build both CDR and arpen , and then turn it into black cleaver later for teamfights with an AD comp (just like zeke's) or take a trinity for more dueling and front burst .

Great build mate, I'd been running something similar. Feel free to flame me for this but if mt team has ad and I'm winning lane I grab a Zeke's Herald first. I also drop 2 A.Pen quints for Flat CDR. This combination allows Gnar to permanently harass with Q, more mobility and steroid with E as well as offering sustain and a little HP to stop form blowing up. This is before even mentioning the Aura it provides which is quite handy early game (Though not as wonderful late.)
IF I build this I then go full tank as you do picking up trinity later on. If the game goes long enough you can sell Zeke's for a Warmogs or Black Clever.
That being said I'm a much lower ELO then you so I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.
