Vayne is a good champion that's been dead for a long time. Top is a terrible lane on summoner's rift that is mostly reliant on getting good match-ups to ensure success in the midgame, with a few outlying scenarios like split push strategies and using teleport, etc. What makes Vayne so good is that her auto attacks are ranged instead of melee. Melee champions suck, so Vayne doesn't suck. She has good match-ups versus melee champions because of this. So why take her bot lane? In bot lane she has no advantages. She has a super **** lane phase and she sucks *** in teamfights where she can get instagibbed 100-0 by 1 item assassins. No. We won't let this happen.

These are your go-to runes for Vayne NP. You run attack speed to get extra auto-attacks off on dumb melee champions and to proc your W quicker/get more use out of it. The AD quints are so you can still last-hit even though you do no damage, and the rest is to scale better into a teamfight where you'll surprise everyone by outliving people.

You run this page if you can guarantee you'll live through some stuff. Like, if they don't have a gap-closing one-shotting mix of top laners/mid laners/junglers. I'd take this one.

You run this if you're gonna get gibbed. Spam E and proc your courage of the colossus so you don't eat **** and die every time you get all-inned.

Look guys so you always want to rush 1 damage item to make you not completely useless because you're gonna get a good lane phase top vs a dumb melee champ who is probably a tank/will over step all the time and eat free damage. Take option 1 vs an AD lane and option 2 vs an AP lane. The reason why you cut **** like deadman's out of your build when you don't lane vs an ad champ is because there are way better scaling items for you to take later. Early game armor items like sunfire and deadman's plate are way better in midgame spikes when you need the armor at an aggressive timestamp.

Just take Ghost and Flash NP. You don't wanna take teleport because it sucks to use in low elo. Take teleport I guess if you're gonan die a bunch because then you can tp back top to get CS you'd miss or something.

Max W first. I don't know how to make this guide pretty but max W first because you're not really building dmg and tank vayne means hella more life to get more W off consistently.

In summary go top. Build tanky. Auto people for free. Never die in teamfights and live to be the last one standing so you can last hit people with true damage that wasn't designed to be exploited by tank champs. Vayne will do the most damage ever because you can't mitigate true damage and you can't kill tanks. So enjoy your freelo son.
