I've tried running sorcery, and it works pretty well, but I'd only run it into easier matchups. The 130 health on resolve is the main reason I run it, and the flat AP from sorcery isn't as important in most cases. If you just want to go AP, celestial body should have you covered, but this guide is more for when you lack a solid tank in top lane (ie a Jayce) and need someone to catch people out.
