Introduction

Hello there everyone.
My mobafire username is the same as in LoL, and I play in the EU version.
This is my personal Warwick build, and I call him Tankwick!
In this guide you'll find multipiple ways of building him as a tank depending on if your enemies are heavy casters/nukers or heavy carries.

Runes

As for runes I get flat Armor Penetration marks and quintessences and mana per 5 second glyphs and seals. The reason of these runes is because Warwick uses a decent amount of mana, but he's not very stable without mana, and everyone who plays him knows it. And the armor penetration is ofcourse of your ultimate, who wouldn't want to do extra damage with their ultimate right?

This is just my personal preference, choice of runes is up to you.

Masteries

My personal preferences are 9/21/0, this because I take the 1 in Cripple because it's nice to reduce the other person by 10 armor / magic resist making it easier to kill that person while he's being slowed and weakened and 1 in Archaic Knowledge for extra damage when using Hungering Strike.

I take 3 in Hardiness and Resistance for extra tankiness ofcourse, 4 in Veteran Scars for extra HP. And best of all Tenacity for 4% reduced damage. That's not very much, but it helps in the long run.

Items

Now items, I start with a Ruby Crystal for extra hp and endurance, quickly building it into a Warmog's Armor. For boots I either go Boots of Mobility, Mercury Treads or Ninja Tabi. I go with Boots of Mobility if I'm doing really well and gank alot, I take Mercury Treads against heavy casters and Ninja Tabi against heavy ad. Next up is either Sunfire Cape or Madreds Bloodrazor. I take Sunfire Cape first if I feel like I need that extra endurance, but if I really don't need it I build Madreds Bloodrazor for extra damage output. Either way I get both, it's just depending on which item I need first.

After you have built these stuff it should be lategame, at lategame everyone who plays well gets their good items. This is where you make your conclusion, which characters do most damage? Is it the casters or the ad characters? If both are strong get both Thornmail and Force of Nature, else you get the one you feel like you need the most and add up a Guardian Angel for another chance to survive.

Skill Sequence

I max Hungering Strike first for the lifesteal and the damage, even though they nerfed Hungering Strike from 100% lifesteal to 80% it's still good. Afterwards I like to max Blood Scent for that extra movement speed when chasing someone with low hp.

Why don't you max Hunters Call before Blood Scent?
Well, because as Tankwick I don't feel like I really need that attack speed just yet.

Do not forget to put points into your ultimate whenever you can though ! =P

Summary

If you have followed my guide correctly you should be an overpowered wolf!
You'll be undefeatable!
