Introduction
-
9 Greater Marks of Deslation (+ 14.94 Armor Pentration): like with any DPS AD-Carry
-
9 Greater Seals of Resilience (+ 12.69 Armor): this garantees you protection against an AD solo top champ
-
9 Greater Glyphs of Celerity (for Cooldown reduction)
-
3 Greater Quints of Swiftness (+ 4.5 Movement Speed): makes Nidalee one of the fastet Champs in game
For starting items I take a Doran's Blade but you can also start with boots and health pots. I like Doran's Blade for the extra health and attack damage which really helps you in the early game.
Next I buy Boots of Speed.
If I'm playing vs an AD solo top champ, I start building Randuin's Omen really early. The first item i take of Randuin's Omen is Warden's Mail, which gives you the armor and health regenaration you normally need for a solo lane. If you are behind with you farm you can of course also start with Heart of Gold.
If there is an AP opponent on top I take the Mercury's Treads before Randuin's Omen.
My next item on the list is the Brutalizer which is really nice on Nidalee because it increases her damage on Takedown and simultaneously reduces its cooldown. Later on I max it to Youmuu's Ghostblade.
My late game items are based on the situation. I really like Atma's Impaler because with your base health, a Randuin's Omen, a Banshee's Veil and if you can afford it maybe a Trinity Force or a Wormog's armor as closing item, you have about 3000 health at level 18 which makes Atma'S Impaler quite effective.

At level 1 I normally start with Bushwhack to lay some traps to have a bit safety from enemy junglers. Next I take the Heal so I have enough sustain in lane. After this I always max Javelin Toss/Takedown so I can secure kills from fleeing champions.
At the levels 6,11 and 16 I logically take Aspect Of The Cougar.

It doesn't really matter which opponent you are facing at Top, you can easily farm just with your basic attack, since most played solo top champs are melee this is really easy. Make sure you don't just farm, but also her*** your opponent with your range and your spear.
Try not to go 1 vs 1 with a melee opponent till you get level 6, because normally they outdamage you in the early game. So just harass your opponent and wait for ganks to kill him.

After level 6 it is really easy to get a kill on your opponent. With AD-Nidalee you deal most your damage in your Cougar Form. If you already own a Brutalizer your Q /Takedown) will deal loads of damage. You can easily dogge attacks with your W (Pounce) while causing damage. If you see the opponent is stronger, just escape from the fight, fall back and heal up again with Primal Surge.
A Pro for playing Nidalee is that after level 6 it is nearly impossible to be ganked and if you build her tanky you can deal loads of damage to the whole enemey team with just spaming your Q W E.

Farming is really easy with Nid. Like i wrote before, before level 6 just last hit. You have the advantage over most solo top champs because of your range. Just play Nidalee like any ranged AD-Carry. After level 6 you can kill a whole minion wave really fast: just pounce in the wave and than spam your Swipe (E).
Normally you outfarm nearly every opponent in the top lane.

It is not usal to play Nidalee this tanky but I really like this build because even if i don't buy that much damage items Nidalee deals loads of damage in her Cougar form. The suggested build is of course just a possible build, normally I buy the items based on the opponents. All in all, the items i listed are my core items and if i can I buy them.
