I tried this recently and it was great. A little squishy but once I got the ambush/assassin mentality down with Taric, it went smooth as hot knife through butter.

I tried it a few times with your item build but like this one better:

- Long sword + mana pot
- Ruby Crystal + Boots >> if going well with $$, Phage
- Phage (if short on cash last time around) + Berserker boots + 2 mana pots

From here on out:
- Infinity Edge
- Zeal
- Trinity Force

Usually I've won the game by now but...
- Bloodthirster
- Phantom Dancer
- Bloodthirster

With Sheen/Trinity Force, I find it really helpful to Stun -> hit -> Shatter -> hit to take advantage of the proc. Technically it's a four shot, not a two shot, but I've taken down quite a few people with this simple combo.

I really dislike the idea of DPS taric, but he seems to work well. Maybe you should consider that leveling stun early only gives you more damage, as leveling your shatter gives you armor pen debuff, and more damage. shatter>stun for dps. For most other builds as well I should note. good ideas here, just too much AD to avoid being focused and screwed if you play low elo.

my only question is why start with a long sword; when nothing in your build uses it?
would you just end up selling it later? and if thats the case, why long sword and not something doran?

Ok, love the idea of this build, but had some serious trouble my first match. I'm currently lvl 14 so I don't have the runes yet, and can't build out the masteries completely - not sure if those are major factors or not. My biggest issue was getting to the caster without dying first. I was laning with Corki against Vlad and Caitlinn....tried to get aggressive well before getting Radiance. Was that my problem? Love some help - I really like the build and want to make it work for me.

This is gr8 build ... well I had too change it little, cuz I have runes M: Desolation, Q: Desolation S: Evasion and G: Focus, but its functional with a Phage early game and Frozen mallet after PD on the place of Black cleaver. Well hammer for hammered champion :P :D . 10/1/15 for my last game ... I just love it x) . I know that Im losing a lot of demage by this, but ... hey... runes arent cheap and Slow is just amazing to wait on your dazzle :P .

I love this build and it's great, but there are a couple of things i've changed to do better with it. I have only played this build a bit though, so feel free to ignore it. :)

First, IE and PD.

I really dislike IE on this. I love the attack damage, truly, but by the time you get it, your ult should be leveled up to max, basically providing you with that same AD. Instead, I prefer Manamune. It's about half the price as IE, but it doesn't provide the same AD as it either. It actually provides more, by the time you get to Late Game or even Mid Game. A fully stacked MM provides 1000 Mana, which means you can easily get upwards of 3k mana here. That means you get an extra 60 AD, bringing you up to 80 AD with that MM. That also helps out with spamming your ult, stun, heal etc. I also find Malady with MM very profitable instead of PD, since imo it's better for this Taric Build in every way. I find CDR really good on Taric too, but there aren't a lot of options for him in that way that really profit him, so that's pretty optional.

Great build, but when manamune was released, i switched bs to it and buy it first. With fully charged manamune you can stay under the ult for... forever (and the damage it gives.. I cant describe it) And I prefer to buy PD before IE. Sometimes i even heard (rad) something like "Taric god". With that build you can easily kill two or three people alone even if you are not feeded. Thanks for the build (except health yellow runes, I think this 50 hp wont make anything for you. I use dodge instead of it)
