Introduction
Hi Guys!
This is a guide for
Teemo as a solotop champion. You might think now: "Oh a troll build", " Teemo can't be solotop" or something like this.
Please don't stop reading now, give Teemo a chance to be a nice solo top fighter.
Why did I choose Teemo:
1. Most opponents of the solo top are AD and to counter their damage Teemo got a nice skill by Riot Games called Blinding Dart.
2. Teemo attacks from a distance, making it easier for him to keep his enemies at a distance.
3. With Move Quick Teemo is super fast.
4. If you place your Noxious Traps right you can escape from upcoming attacks by the enemy jungler.

Masteries
I use 9/21/0 masteries. But why do I put 21 points in the Defense tree? I do it for the following reason, if you go solotop with Teemo you'll need as much survivability as possible. And as you can see, I use strike effect item instead of pure Ad or AP items. So you don't need the AD/AP bonus from the offense tree.
But to kill minions better put 2 points in Butcher
. Also get the 10% magic penetration from
Arcane Knowledge
to grant more damage with Madred's Bloodrazor and Malady.
Teemo you'll need as much survivability as possible. And as you can see, I use strike effect item instead of pure Ad or AP items. So you don't need the AD/AP bonus from the offense tree.But to kill minions better put 2 points in

Runes
Main rune set

Greater Mark of Insight Best choice for Teemo. Although you buy strike effect items it's the best choice because Malady and Madred's Bloodrazor will deal more damge with there effect.
Greater Seal of AlacrityJust use 5 runes of this. You'll get ~ 4% more attackspeed which is enough in combination with your item build. Use this runes together with,
Greater Seal of ResilienceHere you just need 4 runes. You'll get ~6 armor which is totally enough because of your masteries. With this armor runes and the armor from your masteries yuo'll have enough armor to survive. If you don't share my opinion just decide you for one type of runes. |

Greater Glyph of Shielding Use MR per lvl runes because the chance to get an AP opponent is not as big as the chance to get an AD opponent. And in combination with your masteries you'll have enough magic resisance to stay alive.
Greater Quintessence of SwiftnessUse this runes to get the movement speed you are losing because you didn't skilled Swiftness

Other runes worth considering

Greater Mark of desolation Greater Mark of Desolation You might use this runes but I don't recommend this because Malady and Madred's Bloodrazor deal magic damage. And with this runes you don't have the magic penetration. The second reason why I don't recommend this runes is, you should use strike effect items like Malady and not AD items like Bloodthirster. And thus you don't need the armor penetration runes.
Greater Seal of AlacrityLike I said you can use 9 runes of this type too instead of mixing them.
Greater Seal of ResilienceThe same as for the other seals. You can also use just armor runes. |

Greater Glyph of Potency You might use this runes if you play him mid or bot lane. But if you are solo top you need the maximum of survivability.
Greater Quintessence of FortitudeAlso good for solotop but I prefer the movement speed runes. It´s your decision.
Greater Quintessence of PotencyI don't use them for the same reason why I don't use Greater Glyph of Ability Power.
