I wouldn't use Deathfire Grasp to last hit - it does percent damage based off of your target's current health, not maximum health. So the earlier you use it in a fight, the more damage it will do. Late game, it can hit people for near ~1K dmg levels, but if used to last hit, it will only do 200 (and then resists...).

Any thoughts on the new cooldown boots? Zil with high cooldown reduction takes Rewind from good to absurd.

The way I look at it, if you're not dropping that ult on me, I'm feeding. Plain and simple. OMG WHY

I think the boots choice can be a toss up. I only really see boots of swiftness and sorc boots being really the only two choices. I would never get mana regen runes on any hero. Don't think regen is worth passing up on AP runes. I don't believe in the per level runes. I'd rather get flats just because having a solid early game can usually mean a win or a loss. Harder to come back from a weak early game. Depends on your group I guess.

As for summoner spells I would say that Ghost isn't a bad choice at all. Helps you catch up to your team and to escape if you need so you don't have to waste an ult on yourself. Clarity isn't bad if you got champs that use mana on your team. Prevents not only you going back to fountain but your teammates as well. I think other spells to consider might be just clairvoyance just because it's more supportive.

I survivability doesn't have much to do with the build at all. If you play it safe and smart staying out of harms way. I'm sure you'll be fine. You're there to support a team, not to run in there getting reckless in team fights and dpsing or something.

omg why

True very true. but ghost+haste+swift boots gives you 612 mov speed which very few champs can hang with. If i take defensive action i always run. preserving too much mana is also known as slacking damage. as for being a gank target, true very true. but zilean is always a gank target. and when i get ganked i know where the mistakes on my part were made.

and finally id like to draw ur attention to this line i put in the discript. "Also never leave your base without buying a ward and health pot if u can. cause ull always use them/wish you had them. overall you have to use ur brain. i contradict my survivability items all the time but the ones up top are always in my inv"

ty for reading tho. i have a lot to think about. but still firm on runes. and summonerspells

-1, I personally think this is a guide with extremely low survivability most of the time, which makes you a primary gank target. This combined with snowball items (which I dislike) is a combination not so viable, at least from my point of view, and will make you use your ulti on yourself. Boots of swiftness aren't necessary either, since the cooldown on your slow/haste is so short, even if you give it to others 2/3d of the time, use defensive boots instead( depending on the team).

As smulshy mentioned it is edged towards early game, which does make this build even less viable for most games.

I'd recommend using mana-reg/lvl seals instead, and learn to preserve mana. This will allow you to use another summoner spell, instead of clarity.

Nice guide, I normally don't like builds which edge towards being stronger early game, such as flat AP, dorans ring and such, but I'll be sure to give it a go xD Thanks
