I totally agree on your propositions Emoriam. I'll add that note on consumables and Crucible.

I'm a bit confused on how to class some Items. Take Zhonya's Hourglass for example: It gives offensive and defensive stats and as an ''defensive'' active. Sometimes you take it for the protection, but sometimes more for the Ability Power.

Considering that, where do you class it ? Ohmwrecker Brought some confusion with its tank stats, but tons of utility.

As for Zeke's Herald: I almost never take it. The Cdr and Health it offers is quite nice but the passive isn't great (if you compared to the utility of other items). It makes a difference in team composition that have global buffs or that are all Ad. I might remove it, since it's SUPER MEGA RARE that it truly benefits Karma. Therefore, it's not a total waste of money either.

Karma2burn, I totally understand what you mean with Ardent Censer and already tought about it. I will add some details on its effect.

Thx for the feedback ^^ <3

Oh and about the color of the text: I will change it soon x)

A nice guide, gives a lot of informations on playstyles & items. About the later i would like to add Ardent Censer. IMHO it's an item that gives all karma needs & AS on any adc is always welcome in lane.
later on the game the potencial of 4 members of your team have 25% AS for 6 seconds, along with shield & movement speed buff from a mantra'ed shield can make a teamfight a walk in the park.

I saw you have worked on the guide:

I agree on your full build now for most parts even though you should add the upgraded Trinket there. Upgrading Spellthief's Edge can often be ditched if an item like Mikael's Blessing is needed; you could at least mention it in a sidenote.
Ohmwrecker is rather a tanky item now in spite of its utility. Zeke's Herald is never an option, maybe just if you're hard-winning and don't need to care about items anymore and just want to buff your full-AD team.
The note about Start items should tell the reader the exact opposite (:D). Generally you can skip buying wards early on and just go for consumables.

The font colour in the beginning is too hard to read imo :o

Rest of the guide is greatly written and designed, cheers ! :)

You probably want to have at least one of Locket, ardent sensor or Mikaels every game.
Possibly more.

It is now mentioned.
The damage is not the most important factor in the choice of your mana regen item.
The utility is.
Crudible give 10% cdr, negate cc and heal a bit.
Morello give 20% cdr, makes your abilities more impactful and reduce healing effects.
Neither of those are bad, its a matter of which stances you take in the game.

Crudible is even more good when you already have a heal ability.
And Morello is better if you want to limit the enemies defenses.

In most of the games I did, Morello and Unholy were simply a better option for Karma.

Plus, you have to consider the cost of the items: Crudible is way more expensive then it uses to be.

My point is: That Morello fit more Karma playstyle.

'' It's important to mention '' Yes, it could be pertinent. But im not writing a book, and I clearly said in the guide that I did not have the time to do everything in details at the moment.

And you were totally right about the form. The amount of colors I first put almost gave me an headache. >>'

Thx you for the feedback.
Have a nice day ! ;)

As for Crudible, I also agree with the fact that it is a great support item. I wont add it since its not naturally benefict on karma, and that its a situational item. Why isnt so good on karma ? Simply because it dont give any offensive stats, and that you already have enough mana regen and cdr. I dont say its bad, its just so rare that you bought that on her: That it is pointless to add it. Its even better for the adc to get mercurial thread or mercurial scimitar, then you taking Crudible in most situations. Since you might die when he needs it the most.

Still it's important to mention. It's probably one of the most important support items and lookin back at Worlds for sure it's first choice over any offense item when needed. I play Karma myself as a support and I can just say that the addition of damage is therfore negligible.

  • You cannot max an ability at level 8
  • You should add Trinkets and core items to the cheat sheet as people want to know what to buy first and when to change the Warding Trinket to the Sweeping Trinket
  • Generally Mobility Boots are a great choice for support in general along with Mikael's Blessing in certain situations
  • Don't overextend with using colours and text written in bold
  • Check out this as it offers an in-depth view on basic information for coding
