The attack speed makes his disable work immediately. Probably my favorite melee dps right now.

this guide is awesome the only thing i switch are the seal of vitality for seal of alacrity since we start with doran's blade i can get quick kill with the attack speed i gain with the runes

This guide is simply amazing. Thumbs up! I've had my first 10 win-streak with this. Also amazing k/d ratios. I have proof of it if u want.

but I seriously suggest getting Trinity force instead of Frozen Mallet and also making it a core item. Xin Zhao has so much attack speed there's no point in having slow on every attack. Not to mention, that 250% damage on next attack ability is INSANE with it I was literally mopping up the whole opposite team and winning 4v5 as soon as I got Trinity. The burst you get is so scary with Trinity force it just can't be missed.

Maybe you should add extras like replacing x item for other item. Like Force of Nature for Banshee's if they don't have much CC and lots of casters. Bloodthirster should also be replacing Doran's blade later on (Forgot to mention)

I really don't agree with this build I'm afraid. Having 1 active item is always good, but 2 and especially as a dps is just a hassle. My creep farming with this is terrible since I either have to blow my ult or items to farm a wave creeps fast enough before I get ganked late game. Also with the Frozen Mallet, Xin is easy to farm the lizard buff with so it always seems like a wasted item to me.

Again, this build is good for killing hero's indeed, but every game I had a terrible creep score and felt it was incredibly hard to harass. I prefer the Asian Devastation build.

Its a great build , but now doran's items cost 475, so your build has to change a bit

I honestly need to say I love you for this build. He's the only champion I've played for the past 3 days, and I LOVE it. I'll get to the point where I can handle 2-3 champions at once. I love it. Thank you SO much for this build. I used to be terrible with this champ, and now I'm a champ with him. <3
