Haha, with the change to Deadliness, it's now a great mastery to max to activate your passive, so you can spend runes on something more useful. Unfortunately, this only applies to Dominion, b/c of how fast you level.

Could you elaborate on why exactly you go 2 MPen and 7 flat AD marks?
I can understand you're trying to reach 10 AD, but that's mostly only to make it easier on last hitting minions.
Creep score doesn't mean anything in Dominion, and 10 AD doesn't mean a thing against champions, especially if they're running flat Armor seals. What you want to do is go 6 ArPen marks, 3 flat AD marks, 3 flat AD quints and 10% ArPen, but that's mostly just for AD carries and bruisers on Classic.
Sure, your E gets an additional 6 AD from your runes and masteries, but AD will scale horribly into mid without ArPen.
It would make more sense to go full MPen, since you already go for 10% MPen from masteries.

Now that dodge is removed, what would you suggest to take as yellows for Akali, on Dominion? I've mostly just seen scaling HP and flat Armor seals (scaling Armor seals doesn't become better until level 10).

Generally when I play akali I don't ever hit minions on dominion, so the whole thing about last hitting minions with mark of the assasin is kind of pointless. Also, it would help if you explain your item choices in more than a couple of words each. That's the only real criticism I have of your guide though. :)
