This is not a guide, it's a build.

Table of Contents

Section 1: Runes
Section 2: Mastery Page
Section 3: Items
Section 4: The Last Item
Section 5: Final Thoughts

Section 1: Runes

Marks: I shouldn't need to give an explanation for these.
Seals: I combine these with a lot of health from items to be strong against physical carries. I don't need dodge seals because I get a Phantom Dancer. Having a lot of dodge also isn't necessary because I'm not getting the Nimbleness Mastery.
Glyphs: I usually get Youmuu's Ghostblade and more CDR than YG + BP isn't necessary. These runes make up for not getting Mercury Treads.
Quintessences: I shouldn't need to give an explanation for these.

Section 2: Mastery Page

23/6/1 is the only way I would ever build Olaf. As you can see, my runes, mastery page, and items, all synergise with each other. The only thing about the mastery page I think needs an explanation is AK. I get AK because it gives a big damage boost to my Q, which, don't forget, deals MAGIC damage.

Section 3: Items

Before giving explanations to my item build, I need to say something. You don't have to follow the item sequence exactly as I posted it. Sometimes I finish building WA before I get any boots at all. Sometimes I finish my boots before I finish WA. It just depends on whatever I feel like buying first.

Regrowth Pendant and 1 Health Potion:
RP builds into WA. The earlier you get WA, the better.
Boots of Speed and 1 Health Potion:
The speed will help me get back to my lane faster. The speed will also help me dodge skill shots. You need the health potion because you are still squishy. You might even want to get 2 or 3.
Warmog's Armor:
You will need this item if you want to pose as a threat to anyone. You did not get a Doran's Shield or flat health Quintessences. You need health.
Frozen Mallet:
FM is an absolute must because of it's slow. The health and damage will only add to your invincibility.
Phantom Dancer:
Olaf requires an attack speed item. PD is perfect! A lot of people get SF on Olaf for attack speed but you seriously don't need any life steal from items. As you can see, this is a critical hit build.
Infinity Edge:
Q: So how is this build going to give Olaf a big damage out put?
A: Infinity Edge

At this point, your items should look like this:

Section 4: The Last Item

So now we move on to the last item. Here is a list I made of viable last items to get on Olaf. If an item isn't on this list, it's automatically a NO-GO. Some are better than others, but it usually depends on the enemy team's team composition. It also, of course, depends on your preference and your play style.

First, I will talk about damage items. Viability decreases from top to bottom.

Youmuu's Ghostblade

+30 Attack Damage +15% Critical Chance UNIQUE Passive: +20 Armor Penetration 15% Cooldown Reduction UNIQUE Active: You gain +20% movespeed and +50% attack speed for 4 seconds. Attacking enemy units with melee attacks increases the duration by 2 to a maximum of 8 seconds. 60 second cooldown.

I love this item. The CDR on this item is insane. I'm talking about spamming E every 2.4 seconds and never running out of W. The active also synergises with Olaf perfectly. If you pop Ghost, Ragnarok, and Youmuu's Ghostblade, the enemy will run away or die. No wait they won't be able to run away because of how fast you will be. Since this item has no defensive statistics, you might need to get something else but it depends on how well you're faring in team fights.

Atma's Impaler

+45 Armor +18% Critical Strike UNIQUE Passive: 2% of your maximum health is added to your attack damage.

This item is awesome and synergises with the ENTIRE BUILD. I wouldn't take it over YG if I didn't need the armor though.

The Black Cleaver

+75 Attack Damage Passive: Physical attacks reduce your target's Armor by 12 for 5 seconds, (maximum 5 stacks).

This item is great for ruining tanks.

The Bloodthirster

+60 Attack Damage +15% Lifesteal Passive: Gain an additional 1 Physical Damage and 0.25% Lifesteal per kill. Maximum of +40 Damage and 10% Lifesteal. Bonuses are lost upon death.

I never get this item because I don't like it. If you like it, good for you. 100 DMG is cool but you seriously don't need the life steal unless you're doing something wrong. Atma's Impaler can give you close to 94 DMG, and you wouldn't even need to stack up to that.

Now I will talk about defensive items. Viability decreases from top to bottom.

Guardian Angel

+68 Armor +38 Magic Resistance UNIQUE Passive: Revives your Champion upon death, restoring 750 Health and 375 Mana, this effect can only occur once every 5 minutes.

GA is an excellent item and synergises very well with the rest of the build. If you combine Guardian Angel's armor and magic resistance to your health, you will give yourself a strong advantage against strong enemy team compositions.

Randuin's Omen

+300 Health +90 Armor +25 Health Regen per 5 sec. UNIQUE Passive: 15% Cooldown Reduction and 20% chance on being hit to slow the attacker's movement and attack speeds by 35% for 3 seconds. UNIQUE Active: Slows movement speeds and attack speeds of surrounding units by 35% for 2 seconds + 0.5 seconds for each 100 Armor and Magic Resist. 60 second cooldown.

This item is great against high attack speed physical carries. It is amazing in team fights.

Force of Nature

+76 Magic Resist +40 Health Regen per 5 sec +8% Movement Speed UNIQUE Passive: Restores 0.35% of your champion's health every second.

If the enemy team decided that having more casters than anything else was a good idea, prove them wrong with Force of Nature.

Banshee's Veil

+450 Health +400 Mana +57 Magic Resist UNIQUE Passive: Blocks one negative spell every 30 seconds.

Here is another caster counter item, however, I wouldn't get BV over FoN. Banshee's Veil is slightly more expensive than FoN, but when you get to this point in the game, you won't need a mana item. So let's pretend that BV doesn't give mana, it's price would drop below FoN's price, making FoN more worth buying. You already have a ton of health, you really don't need the health. 57 MR, woooo! The shield sucks. Yes, that's right, I said it sucks. Do you really think anyone will be dumb enough to use a strong spell on your strong shield. No, they will use an easily spammable spell that they can afford to waste (mana from) on your shield. The shield will not help you most of the time. As I said before though, it's all a matter of taste/preference/play style.

+100 Armor UNIQUE Passive: On being hit by standard attacks, returns 30% of damage taken as magic damage.

Thornmail works well against high attack speed physical carries but is just too cheap for me.

Sunfire Cape

+450 Health +45 Armor Passive: Deals 40 Magic Damage a second to nearby enemies.

This is a good item but... You already have a ton of health. It only gives 45 armor. It's offensive statistic is as good as nothing unless stacked. However, if you absolutely MUST get a sunfire cape, go for it!

Section 5: Final Thoughts

Don't forget to buff up after you finish your item build (consumables)
I hope you enjoy using The Brolaf Build! :D

This is definitely the best build that I've created yet, if I do say so myself ^_^
