I personally like to start with W, if your bot lane (or mid / jungle, depending on map side) helps leash you can kill your first few camps quite easily. As for the second AA reset I'll have to experiment with it, as I've never noticed it.

The reason I mention Sunlight on jungle clear is so your team mates don't accidentally kill a small lizard or wraith with it.

(Sorry this isn't being updated or finished yet, I'm not currently playing much LoL so I haven't had time to finish my match up section I was working on ^_^)

I play Jungle Leona sometimes, but I start with a point in Q first. The reason for this is that Leona has TWO AA resets, which helps a lot with the jungling speed. First you AutoAttack, the you hit Q to reset your AA, and then you AA again by right clicking on the target (you must manually click the target for this to work). This way, you pull 3 consecutive AA in a very short amount of time. Because of this, it's very helpful to get RED first with a strong leash.

Needless to say, you should do this on any target. For example, you E, then right click AA, then Q+AA, then right click AA again.

On Sunlight, I think ANY attacks can pop Sunlight, not just AA.
Also, you mention sunlight from W in your jungle section, but I don't it matters, since Leona can't pop them.

Nice guide, worked pretty well in the soloq. Terrible early game but if you make it to late game you're godlike.

Her ganks are godly? Sure, sure.
Jarvan IV, Fiddlesticks, Maokai, Nocturne, Nautilus, shall I go on?

Didn't downvote since this isn't an actual review and I'm too lazy to.

Why limit what people can do just because it's not in the meta?

I'm going to organize the layout better when I have free time, and thanks for the upvote ^__^

Well, whatever you say. Regarding the guide itself, it's well executed and organized, but you could use better formatting (columns, centering, etc). I can't really talk on the item build because I don't know what a jungler Leona would need for jungling, but it seems good enough. You have my upvote, but only because of that. I still disagree with you on choosing Leona as a jungler over Hecarim or Lee Sin, with the only exception being in very specific team comps.

I wouldn't. While I can see most people considering Leona a "troll" pick in ranked, I don't see it being that way. Most people, especially at lower levels of play, don't like to differentiate from what's considered "normal". Leona jungle being an example here, while I'm not sure if you're just being partially biased because you have an interest in Leona as a support (I do too, and I've read your guide and liked it very much) most players can run with and accept the fact that someone isn't going to play one of the "go to" junglers (Hecarim, J4, Vi or Xin Zhao)and work their game around it. My comment about having fun probably isn't suited for ranked play, in no way am I saying "play what you want in ranked, as long as you have fun its OK"

Leona isn't a "trash pick" when it comes to jungling, she has, in my opinion the strongest lock down potential available, from the top of my head the only others I see being able to compete would be J4 or Vi. She has no sustain mechanic and her clear times are pretty slow, but she shouldn't be overlooked simply because she's been tagged as "support" by the vast majority of the playerbase.

Yes and no. Think about it, it's a team game, would you prefer helping out the team or helping yourself? Sure, this is fine for something like a custom game or soloqueue normals, but if someone tried Leona Jungle in ranked, I would immediately take that as him/her refusing to cooperate with the team.

I'm not advertising Leona as a tier 1 jungler. I've written this guide to give Leona players something else to do other than support. Sure you could just roam and gank, but that's not as fun, and we play League to have fun, right?

Doesn't matter. The reason I listed those champions is because although their ganks are not as good, they are pretty close AND have pretty much everything else a jungler requires. Just because Leona can gank well doesn't mean she's a good jungler. If you want to gank, just lane and roam.

I'm gonna say what other people have said: you need to finish your guide and do some BBcoding (preferably before you publish, because if you do it late people will forget the guide existed with this publish rate on Mobafire).

However I've recently started jungling with Leona mainly because I have like only Amumu for jungle and he's always banned in Ranked games and the next choice is Kayle (and Fiddle, but i'm bad at jungling with him) which doesn't have as much CC to gank so well... Oh well, but I meant to say I play a bit similarly to your guide and I think it's a good idea to make a Leona jungle guide. I wish looking if I found any, but I didn't back then so I decided try out some stuff on my own.

Leona might have long clear time (especially mid game), but she does have very good ganks and decent enough dmg. I at least get plenty of kills when jungling her and usually do very well. I buy quite similar items to yours, but I think I'll try out more stuff before voting on your guide to see what is actually the best way to jungle her. Good guide anyway, but needs some polishing :)

Yeah gonna side with asian on this one, she has so much cc and her passive adds a lot of damage if your laner comes in to help. Essentially she's designed to cc someone into oblivion while amplifying the potential damage your allies can deal.

I hate to break it to you, but Leona's ganks are better than all of those, before and after 6 >.>
