Hello guys. May it sounds strange: A full AP Maokai. Maokai is a good champion and his kit is so complete to do this. First of all, open your eyes to see the carrier-power on the champ.
If you can't seem just close the window.

First steps

Ok. Now you're picking Maokai. What you have to do?

Lich Bane is the way. It's a amazing-casters item that improves your basic attack after a spell. Use your Q and AA. At Five Stacks, your AA will heal you.

Improving the AA is a good way to do damage. After this

Rod Of Ages is a good item to improve mana & life. Farm fast to get the stacks. After this, go to Luden's Echo. It'll will improve your movespeed and give a AP Statikk (Hot dammit)
