What is your opinion on corrupting-pot start? I find it better as it fits my playstyle better, but I want your opinion on it. And also, I find going aproach velocity has a really good synergy on toplane as well. It allows me to stick to the target. Is it okay to go this? Or should I go other secondary runes in the toplane?

As far as secondary runes go you can go whatever you want, as long as you know why you are using them. For example, do you need the tenacity and healing from trimuph for teamfights? or do you want biscuits and approach velocity for laning? it comes to prefrence generally, but some runes are situational.
I personally don't like corrupting pot because you already have your passive for sustain, and if you want damage dorans ring is better for that and offers more (mana regen, hp, ap).
Though it can be good into meele matchups that aren't too hard, where the sustain + burn dmg can help when fighting your opponent. Another thing about corrupting is that cho is a weak early game champ, and going for corrupting pot, which gives no stats, can be realy bad, but is not a bad idea, if fits your playstyle go for it, try corrupt pot in more matchups and see if it works, and analyze when and why it doesn't work as well as in other matchups.

my only problem with this guide is that u might need to be a bit more in depth on your build examples notes. cause this is just my opinion but i find it quite hard knowing what items to go when. for example in the fighter build notes u talk about why steraks gage is good but not when or why to build it over the items u showed on the fighter build example. but it might just be me being bad att understanding your guide. also why is thornmail and force of nature core items when only 1 of your example build uses them both. lastly what are your tougths on anathemas chains on cho gath.

most of the the build examples dont have thornmail and force of nature because i tried to make as much varied examples as possible, because thornmail or force of nature might not be as good as second or third item depending on the match, for example: if you are against a heavy poke team, getting a warmog third or second can bea a good choice because warmogs sinergyzes really well with Cho'gath.

The notes are just a quick explanation on the build examples, but if you want to know when or why to build X item check the items section, where i explain why those items work on Cho, or when they work.
Hope this clears up your questions!

Lastly, i think Anathemas its a very good item on Cho'gath, its cheap and the stats + the vendetta passive a very good for cho, the item also can help to deal with 1v1 champs or splitpushers, for example camille, jax, maybe fiora?, nasus, etc...
Though i havent got the opportunitty to try the item yet, i need to do some testing.

Hello fellow Cho lover :D

I can see that in ur guide u have stated that fiora and darius are hard matchups.

If you go Hail of blades on ChoGath and rush thornmail 1st item i promise you, you will win every 1v1 as long as ur maxing E and playing around your E and R ability.

Same applies to the Darius matchup tho going grasp and rushing thornmail vs fiora is probably better in the long run if you think about it but anyways Hail of blades and thornmail vs darius is really op and if you would like some inspiration from a Cho main you could check my guide out as in total i have over 1.7 Mil mastery on all my accs and peaked Rank 100 chall on eune with ChoGath this season.

Now when i look at ur guide i noticed u have hail of blades as cho jg.

I have not had much positive outcomes with Cho jg but now when i think about it hail of blades chogath in the jungle MIGHT actually work since it increases his dueling potential.

I will defentietly try that rune in my next ranked game

Upvoted :)!

Hey thanks! this are really usefull tips for Cho. darius and fiora are hard amtchups, but obviously if you are goo enough and you build and play the right way they become a lot Easier to deal. I never tried to rush Thornmail, but i will give it a try next time.

i have readed your guide and i really liked it! but i dont understand well the strategy of rushing thornmail, i mean, its a very gold efficient item in this season, mainly beacuse of BoTKR and beacuse every top laner & adc heals somehow.
What i whant to say it`s that thornmail isn`t a situational first item? since Rigtheous glory offers a lot of important things to Cho'gath, making it a hard item to ignore.

well, thank you! i hope you that this guide its still usefull for youin the future, good luck!

I mean I always think that there's not much logic behind rushing Righteous first item just because it tells u too in recommended section . What u can do is get only bramble and then rush Righteous but I don't do that very often since Thonrmail provides more dueling potential with the armor hp and the item passive. I pretty much go Thornmail 1st item vs every ad matchup except champs like Shen and Gnar as they deal ap and ad damage
