Bro presses one button and blocks your entire kit. If you can control when you engage Jax, make sure to use your E first and wait for his E to be fully used before going in with your W.

If he uses his Q he can disable your W, as you won't be able to target him. You can knock him out of his W too with your Q, but it really doesn't even out, as Yi doesn't need his abilities to kick your a$$, but you do need your abilities to kick his a$$.

Amumu

Major

Amumu can belay you quite well with his Qs. Assuming he has his full kit in a 1v1, he will stall you till your W runs out and then kick your a$$ with his sheer aura (W).

Bel'Veth

Minor

Outheal this ***** and win the game. She literally can't do jack against you unless she is fed, but that really applies to everyone.

Diana

Major

Its less that she counters Briar, in fact you can kick her a$$ quite well, but it's more so that she is just a better jungler than Briar. She will most likely be more fed and have better farm than you.

Dr. Mundo

Perfectly even between Briar and him. Generally wouldn't suggest 1v1ing him just to be safe.

Ekko

He can very easily set up a W if you use your W on him, making you easy pickings, especially with his ult which also cancels out your W,

Nobody plays this champ, but her W in spider form is the only thing you should really care about, as it cancels your W.

Evelynn

Literally nothing she can do, even if she is fed one stun is all it takes and she gets melted.

Fiddlesticks

He is a better jungler than Briar so do be careful, but aside from that you can very easily get his a$$. His Q does suck though.

Gragas

He can throw a Q down when you are chasing him and get a guaranteed combo because of that. Still, assuming he has used literally any one of his abilities before you engage him, you will kick his a$$.

Hecarim

Better jungler than Briar, but quite easy in a 1v1.

Ivern

He is extremely annoying, as he can reliably hit you with his Q and summon Daisy if you W on him, but aside from that you can deal with him quite well.

Jarvan IV

Not much he can do against you.

Kayn

His ult does disable your W, but that's about it. His E also allows him to run away from you quite efficiently too. All in all, focus on out-jungling him instead of catching him in 1v1s.

Kha'Zix

If he is fed he will one-shot you, not really much you can do. Otherwise, literally just free gold.

Lee Sin

Literally the only thing you have to worry about Lee Sin is how well he can run away from you, rather than if he can even kill you in the first place.

She is quite fast, even if you catch up to her an Q her, if you do not kill her in time she will just run away and there's not much you can do about it. She can also put you to sleep which does make chasing her quite difficult.

Malphite

Naafiri can press W and end your W. Aside from that, there's very little she can do.

Nidalee

No matter which form she is in, you can very easily beat her.

Nocturne

Nocturne's W grants him a spell shield, which makes him able to block your Q or W, both of which are quite bad scenarios. I would suggest baiting it out and getting rid of it before engaging him.

Nunu & Willump

Even

Root, stun, heal, Nunu can be quite the problem, especially if he is fed. Be very careful if you ever engage him.

Rammus

Just give it up man. If he also buys Thornmail, it's curtains for you.

Rengar

Never engage him unless you know for certain he doesn't have his Q and R.

Sylas

A wee bit dangerous given his sustain and stun, but assuming he isn't fed you can quite easily handle him.

Teemo

Unlike Jax, who can press one button and ignore your kit, Teemo is not even remotely tanky or has the amount of burst damage needed to finish the job after poking the bear. Assuming he is not fed and you do not waste your W and Q whilst blinded, he is very easily dealtable.

Trundle

Major

Pre-Level 6 this one is a breeze, but after Trundle gets his R, its not advisable to engage him unless you are certain he has used it recently.

Udyr

Major

The more items Udyr has the higher he gets on this list. During the early game he can't really do much, but as time goes on he becomes unfightable in a 1v1.

Vi

Tiny

Vi can't do anything to you unless she comes into your range, and if she does you can easily handle her.

Viego

Even

His R does stop your W, so be careful about that one.

Volibear

Extreme

He can take advantage of your W and bait you into his E, and if he does that you are completely screwed. His W gives him enough sustain to match yours, he also has a stun on his Q to match yours, and his ult is there in case he feels like you are actually dealing damage to him.

Buy anti heal.

Xin Zhao

Even

Way more dangerous than you would expect, but still dealtable consistently.

Zaahen

Major

Once he gets nerfed to the ground this guy will reach Tiny threat level. But anti heal.

Zac

Even

Unless he doesn't build items for you, don't really bother engaging him, as you won't deal enough damage to him.

Zed

Even

His ultimate does disable your W, but that's about it. Unlike nearly all other matchups, this one you should be the one reacting, make sure to either bait out his W and avoid it, or wait for him to use his ult and disengage. Assuming one of the two occur, go on and claim your prize.
