Well We know you know how to play morde the way everyone says you should
but this guide was to bring back back the forgotten art of building damage on morde's q and to go in more detail about how playing morde works. will up date and add videos first guide so be nice =P

this page is for a more tanky start the quints realy do well to stay in lane longer.

this is a more traditional manaless start realy good for going full ap morde.

this page is good for when you get counter picked by the meta via cassio swain
dodge those skill shots and remember to trade well because swain and cassio cannot take punish ment like you can.

these mastries is for solo top and for when you get counter picked stay alive and stay ahead you are always more uselfull then the enemy ap carry.

ideal you want to max e then q and w last but in some cases you want to lvl e and then w right after. Solo top morde you want to max q and w vs an ad bruser to survive until you get strong enough to kill them.

Iron Man
30% of the damage dealt from abilities is converted into a temporary shield, absorbing incoming damage. Shield regeneration is half effective versus minions. Minimum shield strength is 120 health, and the maximum is 630 health. The shield decays by 3% per second.

On next hit, Mordekaiser swings his mace with such force that it echoes out, striking up to 3 additional nearby targets, dealing his attack damage plus 20 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 bonus damage (+40% of ability power). If the target is alone, the bonus damage is increased by 65%.

Creeping Death
Unleashes a protective cloud of metal shards to surround an ally, increasing their armor and magic resistance by 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 and dealing 20 / 35 / 50 / 65 / 80 (+15% of ability power) damage per second to enemies in the cloud for 6 seconds.

Siphon of Destruction
Mordekaiser damages enemies in a cone in front of him, dealing 65 / 110 / 155 / 200 / 245 (+40% of ability power) magic damage.

Cost 24 / 36 / 48 / 60 / 72 health

Children of the Grave
Curses an enemy champion for 8 seconds, stealing 3 / 3.5 / 4% life per second, plus an additional 0.1% per 50 AP.

If the target dies while under the effect of the curse, their soul is enslaved and will follow Mordekaiser for 30 seconds. During this time, Mordekaiser gains 25% of their ability power, and attack damage. The spirit gains 65 / 75 / 85% + (+100% of ability power) of Mordekaiser's adjusted damage, ability power, and 50% + (+100% of ability power) of Mordekaiser's health.

Pets can be controlled by holding the alt key and using the right mouse button.

morde is played at all levels of play but ofc the higher the elo the easier it is to get rolled by players because they know how to lane vs morde and also counter picks+ junglers realy ruin mordes fun, will add vids soon.

Morde counters kass not because kass is weak kass does not have enough damage to break mordes passive and so morde can harras him down with e and take no damage and push kass to his tower so he cant farm. I have tested this playing kass vs morde i managed to not fall behind but i still managed to die from children of the grave + ignite.


Morde hard counters vlad because he simply cant lane vs morde vlad cannot break iron man with his the only vlad can beat morde is with jungle help be sure press r on him when ever it is up it does more damage to vlad vs anyone else. to ensure a win vs vlad buy after wota or gunblade.


now this match up depends of the skill of both players but morde wins this lane because morgana does not do enough damage to kill morde 1v1 once she misses a snare she becomes pretty much useless. Morgana has her black sheild mordes ult is the only spell that goes right threw her sheild also morgana does not stop the curse so she can pretty much get torn apart, also morgana cannot death with the damage from modes q unless shes maxed her sheild 2nd. Morgana must try to catch morde off guard in a bush or something silly. Remember to not wonder off into enemy jungle vs morgana because you can easily be caught and killed.







another lane that can go either way old school kat players know how to deal with morde but in order for kat to win this lane she must come back with a the activation + can kill you easily
do not let katarina farm or get any kills in lane and you will be fine.




now this match is up is a hard one allot of players want to think swain auto morde. Early lvls swain does not do enough damage swain does not get strong until lvl 5 torment dont not get caught in its most of the time a gank take wraiths and harras him with and be sure to run magic resist and you will be fine also buy and and do not fight him without ignite or exhaust, Remember you are always more uselfull with your ult in team fights. Do not die to swain and you have chance of being a factor in that game. Swain can take down your passive easy because of the Dot spells be carefull.



Malz one of my fav champs next to morde hard counters morde in lane due to his his hole skill set + voidling and with recent buffs to malz in the Zyra patch malzahar beats champs 1v1 more effectively. Early game play passive max creeping death 2nd and take wraiths do not do anything in lane without a sheild magic runes is a must if you survive and do not die to malz you will be able to beat him later on in the game. Remember Malz is just a mage hes so he can be killed easy take exhaust vs malz so his spells will not burst you down so hard. Remember counters do not matter 2v1 use jungler to you're advantage.



Karthus is the only mage that becomes more usefull then you late game you may beat him into a pulp in lane but he will tear you apart and you're team in team fights if hes doing well. Best Way to beat you're lead singer is to crush him in cs. Also pushing him to hard wil get you killed by exaust and wall of pain and his jungler be careful about this match up. When things is even between you and him do not commit the the death with him if you kill him with your ult
and his will even things out.



This well forgotten guy Hard counters you in lane for the aimple fact that you no way of stoping him from casting on you do not go in bushes do not stay in lane when he goes in a bush buy extra wards for your lane keep your sheild up dont stand next to the creeps for a free silence from be sure to hit him with your e when ever you can when he uses drain get out of range asap. do not 1v1 him until you catch him out of position late game and ignite him accordingly.



believe it or not you have a stronger early game then this guy. This lane can get ugly if you get camped by his jungler. Late game will be a problem for you if he has allot of items, learn to time his blue and ward it and contest it with your jungler without blue he cannot spam all day long and sustain with his ult, if the ryze is bad you win this lane easy if he is good play passive.
