Introduction

Pretty much a decent guide for any beginner to play Vladimir, changes may come with patches and nerfs/buffs.

Farming

Last hit every creep with transfusion at low levels as poking really isn't going to do much good before 7-9, try to ignore whoever you're in lane against, unless it's someone really easy to poke to death ex: twitch, take wraiths whenever they're up as long as your lane is pushed out a bit and you're not missing creeps to do it.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
Good poke/sustain in lane
Fair damage
Good survivability
Easy/fast farmer
Cons:
Bad early game
Not much burst compared to nukes
Kiting is almost essential
Fairly easy to die because he's outranged by plenty of casters.

Summoner Spells

Pretty standard for a caster, you can always swap out for ghost instead of flash but It's just preference I guess.

Team Work

In team fights you shouldn't probably be one of the ones taking most of the hits, chasing their squishies and slowing them with Rylai's, try to grab focus by poking, hopefully allowing your carries to come in and pick up the kills.
