the good thing about nasus is the only offensive things you need at all are trinity force, because if you farm your Q well this gives you more damage .
your build should be:

start with boots and health pots. or null magic mantle if your laning against akali.
unless you are playing against a team with literally no CC you should definitely build merc treads. as late game the only thing stopping you is gonna be hard CC.
after this build sheen. from here there you either finish the triforce or rush warmogs. and then get the other one. then atmas, then whatever tank items you need. you dont need attack speed because the vast majority of your damage is coming from you Q, you dont need CDR because the only skill that matters is siphoning strike which has such a low cooldown that % CDR is really really minor.

oh and your runes are completely wrong.
armor seals, mRes per level glyphs, AD quints and probably AD marks as well. the armor pen doesnt matter because of E and the move speed doesnt matter because you're building a trinity force. and dont even get me started on taking Mana Regen runes. if you're having mana problems you're casting wither too much.

oh and not taking spirit fire until level 13..... are you joking?

yeah its mana heavy, yeah it can take farm away from your Q if used badly, but the armor reduction is too good to say no to when your jungler comes to gank/the other person insists on 1v1ing you early.

obviously nasus is really OP so as long as you build the triforce and the warmogs you gonna be pretty much unkillable and if you farm the Q your damage output will be insane. but nashors tooth is just straight up a bad build and boots 3 are pretty dreadful on any champ especially ones like nasus who are CC magnets.

id like to thank you for pointing these things out and expressing your opinion, next time i play i think i will try the things you have suggested and see how it goes. this is just how i play nasus and i pick swiftness because even with the move runes people escape in the earlier game. but ill take the things youve said into cosideration and give them a try. ill update the build with what i find and probably polish it up a bit more when i do.

I run Nasus as my main and I feel you are completely underestimating the power of Spirit Fire.. You take ArP runes for what? Armor pen right? So why would you not want a skill that lowers the opponents armor by 40 endgame? That negative in combination with the ArP runes is devastating..

I personally like the ghost choice and will admit Exhaust can prove useful, but I prefer to take Ignite over everything, it really helps when champions start running, which they should be doing ignite followed by wither, spirit fire, and a siphoning strike is almost guaranteed to get a kill.

Boots of swiftness are completely useless on Nasus, grab a ninja tabi or mercury treads considering you have no CC resistance. Your movement speed from trinity force + a force of nature (probably Nasus' best choice for magic resist) is far superior combined with other boots than what boots of swiftness can offer.

Offensive skills are also quite useless on a Nasus build. His Q is enough to get the damage done without help if you're actually playing right.. I'd run defensive helping his tankiness and putting skills into Evasion and Nimbleness to help him dodge and move faster than he already does. And your choice of mana/health regen is not going to show any benefits endgame on a champion like Nasus who should never be mana or life hungry (built in life leech).. Put it into good hands

I like your uniqueness, I just don't see this Nasus build as being even close to viable. -1
