Yes, it still works! Experiment with the items and find a build/runes that you enjoy using the most. Also I have had good success with Thresh top and most of all fun, but I haven't tried him in solo queue this season yet.

Edit: I returned from my LoL burnout recently and got into playing ranked again. and I have gotten into platinum (which isn't too high all things considered) and I got there by playing either Thresh or Briar top, so I would say that this works.

Of course, it's none of my business, but if this guide has been updated to season 14, then the author believes that it works.

From my limited experience vs Olaf yes. I haven't seen many Olafs so I can't offer that much concrete information, but you should try to get the wave near your tower and farm. Not much I can say sorry.

Hi, thanks for the compliments.
I haven't personally used Death's Dance on Thresh top, but it seems interesting so I'll give it a go. But I have been using Dead Man's Plate in my recent games and that works quite nicely.

But to answer your first question I'd say the build is a bruiser build and the reason for Frostfire is the slow and the stats. The slow helps with hitting those hooks and Flay. Plus Frostfire gives 100 health for every legendary item which works well with the passive.

Oh and a quick edit. I'd say that Death's Dance can work with more of a damage build, guess i could add that to this build as well.
