Triple GP10 has become my standard start for AP Yi btw. I'm sure I've seen you say he's unviable before so I dunno whether you'd want to add him or not, but assuming you HAD to play him I'd definitely say triple GP10 is more effective than double s or a rush.

I used to run avarice runes, but I ran into huge problems. GP10 already hurts your early game, and avarice runes will dig you a grave while nailing your coffin shut. I highly recommend standard caster runes, but you can certainly playtest avarice runes. I did, and came to the conclusion that I prefer standard caster runes. You can get 5gp10, or 30 GpM with avarice runes, which in a 30 minute game, will net you 900 gold.

I'll have to add in xerath to the guide, but I'm not a fan. Xerath is a mid-game burst caster that heavily benefits from multiple dorans rings->rabadons. I'd much rather have the stats from 3 dorans rings than heart of gold and philo stone.

Love the guide, LOVE the idea (I hate, hate, hate, hate, HATE Doran's items, so hearing another viable option is just amazing)... Definitely a plus !!

However.... I'm curious, what are your thoughts about Xerath doing this? I am new to him, and still learning him... And I'm wondering if he could pull it off?
