Introduction

Well this is my first guide, but I hope you find it useful as it has brought me many victories. I use this build for almost any situation and against most enemy team comps. (Unless of course for some reason their whole team is AP.) Anyway, use the guide and enjoy!

Runes

For runes I just maximize survivability and damage. Olaf is already naturally tanky thanks to his ultimate-rangnarok. Olaf excels at 1 on 1 combat minus a couple of champs such as Darius and occasionally Xin-Zhao however with this build I have managed to beat them even though they countered me. This wasn't necessarily due to the build, but more to do with their skill level with the champion. However the armor and magic resist helps out a lot for early game survivability and top lane sustain. The magic resists also helps if you decide to gank mid while your lane opponent is missing or back at base.

Items

The build layout I have chosen works well with anything. It helps you get a lot of gold really fast, and at the same time it allows you to capitalize on your build progression. Getting these gp5's as soon as possible helps you snowball on your opponents. You want to try and keep these gp5's as long as possible, but finish your items as well so you can continue with your build progression. Even if you are getting owned in your lane you wont fall to far behind with these gp5's under your belt. Towards endgame if you dont need the extra armor you can swap out the randuins for something with magic resists or both. Things you could swap it with are Force of Nature, Guardians Angel, or Quicksilver sash. Also I made a mistake in the build before, but I have corrected it. Instead of Ninja Tabi, build Merc Treads. This will give you a more even amount of armor and magic resist.
