There are those who choose not to live in one of the great city-states of Valoran. Instead, they live in remote locales, often as part of a nomad or barbarian tribe. While perils abound in these untamed lands, there is also great freedom in being removed from the politics of Valoran. Tryndamere was born a member of one of these barbarian tribes in northern Valoran. Even as a young boy, it was obvious that he would grow in martial prowess to become one of his clan's greatest warriors. However, as his clan moved south between the Howling Marsh and the Ironspike Mountains, they came across strangers in black garb, brandishing symbols of a beast's skull. Despite Tryndamere's pleas, his elder went out to speak with the strangers; they cut him down mercilessly. From there, they began to slaughter every man, woman, and child in the clan. Tryndamere, the sole survivor, hid under the bodies of his dead parents. Upon their bloodied corpses, he swore eternal vengeance on those who took his people from him - the assassins of Noxus.
To train himself, Tryndamere voluntarily served under all the great chieftains of the barbarian tribes, learning the ways of the barbarian warrior. Not only did this make him the man he needed to become in order to exact his revenge, it has also garnered him friends and allies among the most powerful barbarian leaders of Valoran. This recently allowed him to unite the barbarians into a single, powerful force - all under his command. Now he has joined the League of Legends to earn enough influence to find a permanent home for his people... and to slake his rage on the champions of his hated foes.
"The next true power will come from the far north, and it will involve Tryndamere - one way or another."

This is my First Guide on MOBAfire and I wanted to share some of my knowledge of Tryndamere. Please up vote or down vote (and leave comments or criticism as why to you liked/didn't like my guide) Thank you!
Why choose Tryndamere? Easy, he has great mobility (specially with this guide. I clock in at 496 ms with both PD) Tryndamere also can beat ANYONE in a 1v1. However, late game we know that LoL matches are won by teams! So what is Tryndameres roll in team fights? I consider him a carry. but not just a carry. THE counter carry. (Unless your fighting a superior carry with great getaways.) I will admit Tryndamere has problems with getting kited. Thats why i built this guide. Those slows will affect him, but I still have 380+ ms with most minor slows on me.
Also his damage output is outmatched! You should beat anyone in a 1v1 but as I stated above, LoL is a team game.

What is your role?
I play Tryndamere as a Solo top or jungle champion. I will add more on jungling later.
Tryndameres Solo Top is great. You have excellent sustain with Bloodlust and can harass easily by running next to the Opposing Champion, Right click him, then Spin away! (Don't do so against champions with a hard cc or those that counter you) Once team fights begin, I wait for the tankys to initiate and spin in. Focus AD/AP carries based on team preference. If your getting focused wait till you are at a comfortable amount of health (depending on how well you trust that finger of yours) and throw on Undying Rage. I typically wait for 3 seconds into my ult before I spin away and use Bloodlust as Undying Rage expires. That defines how well you know your champion. What defines between Good and Great Tryndameres are when they can decide if its safe to rejoin the fray or going to base.
Good SS
Having done around 10 ranked matches with Trynd I find Exhaust and Cleanse the best for him in a normal match up but I will continue testing. Other SS that work well with Trynd are Ghost, Flash, and in some cases I have seen though never tested myself, is ignite.
May be viable
Ive also seen Trynds use Heal, and Teleport.
Heal - may come in handy when starting to use him and accidentally used Bloodlust at a wrong time. I have done so plenty of times when learning Trynd.
Teleport - can be used to BD or save a turret of your own.
NEVER USE
And I mean never. Such SS are Clarity, Clairvoyance, Promote, and Revive.
Clarity - YOU DONT USE MANA!
Clairvoyance - Save this for your Support
Promote - Its a SS that can really be removed from the game IMO.
Revive - If you die than you probably deserved it and even if you could use it to stop the enemy team from winning why do so. They deserve killing you so stay dead. Other SS are more viable on Trynd.
