Greetings, I have tried many different builds and this ended up working the best for me. This is not a tank build. I have made this build due to the recent patch changes. This is a carry/jungle/gank build, So please make sure your team is aware that your not the tank!

Please note: (Patch: League of Legends v104)

Fixed some bugs where certain items would have their Tiger Stance damage cut down to 1/3. They now deal full damage on Tiger Hit. (Affected items are Madred's Razors, Wriggle's Lantern, Sheen, Lich Bane and Trinity Force)

Typically jungling performs two functions. One, it frees an extra lane giving your team a gold & experience advantage over your opponent. Two, it provides quick and easy gank opportunities. This will also provide an additional advantage to your team.

As the title "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Bear" leads you to believe, you are a jungling assassin!! Ooo aaah =D Anyways, as seen below there is a commonly used jungling path you can perform. As soon as you have rounded your way passed the Lizard(5), collecting both his and the Golem(4) buff you will want to gank the bottom lane. The trick here is to combine Ghost, Bear Stance, and the Lizard(5) buff to ensure an easy kill.

For more details on jungling see the following guide for helpful hints, tips, and tricks.

Key Points

Attack Damage: 288 (With the Bloodthirster)
Initial Tiger Stance Hit: 1200+ damage over 2 seconds! (Tiger Stance: Dmg x3 + Trinity Force: Dmg x150%)
Base Attack Speed: 210% (With )
Boosted Attack Speed: 260% (With Tiger Stance & Monkey's Agility)
Imagine how much damage you will do with 260% attack speed & Madred's Bloodrazor
Crit Chance: 65% (With ) & (Tiger Stance attacks do crit, and will be effected by crit chance!)
Dodge: 38%
Lifesteal: 65% (With Turtle Stance)
Movement Speed: 30%
Boosted Movement Speed: 55% (With Bear Stance)

Summoner Spells

Ghost is highly useful when playing Udyr, due to his Bear form he is able to land a quick stun and or catch up to enemies. This ability will guarantee that they can not get away.

You will want to get Smite to help jungle, it provides a great amount of damage which really helps taking out the Golems & Lizards. Keep in mind, its imperative that you quickly use those buffs to gank as soon as the situation presents itself. Which is also why I take Ghost.

(Innate) Udyr's attack speed is increased by 10% and dodge chance by 3% for 5 seconds each time he switches stances. This effect can stack up to 3 times.

(Stance) On his next attack, Udyr swipes at his target, dealing a multiplier of his attack damage over 2 seconds.
Passive: Udyr's attack speed is increased. In addition, Udyr splits his attacks into 3 lightning fast hits. On-hit effects only trigger off the first hit.
Cooldown: 6 seconds.
Cost: 75 / 65 / 55 / 45 / 35 Mana
Multiplier: 1.8 / 2.1 / 2.4 / 2.7 / 3
Attack Speed: 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 / 70%

Crouching Tiger, this stance is where everything begins! When leveled up it provides 70% attack speed, and when switching to this stance your next hit does 3x the damage "in magic damage" over 2 seconds. This is absolutely insane!! 3x the damage is better than a crit considering a crit is only 2x the damage! Now due to the recent patch it now works with Sheen & Trinity Force... Sweet Dude... Sweet!!

(Stance) Udyr gains a temporary shield that absorbs damage.
Passive: Udyr's attacks cannot crit, but he restores a percentage of his damage as health and mana.
Cooldown: 6 seconds
Cost: 75 / 65 / 55 / 45 / 35 Mana
Damage Absorbed: 60 / 100 / 140 / 180 / 220 (+0.5 per ability power)
Health Restored: 12 / 14 / 16 / 18 / 20%
Mana Restored: 9 / 10.5 / 12 / 13.5 / 15%

The Turtle Stance is what makes his jungling ability so optimal. He can quickly regenerate health & mana in between creeps and making your way from lane to lane for quick ganks. Now the amazing part, and why I level this ability up soo quickly is for the damage shield it provides when activated. It can absorb 220 damage, every time its activated, thats just absolutely insane. Combined with a ton of lifesteal you become near impossible to kill.

(Stance) Udyr gains increased movement speed for a few seconds.
Passive: Udyr mauls his target with such force that they are stunned for 1 second. This effect cannot occur on the same target for 6 seconds.
Cooldown: 6 seconds
Cost: 75 / 65 / 55 / 45 / 35 Mana
Movement Speed: 15 / 18 / 21 / 24 / 27 %
Duration: 2 / 2.5 / 3 / 3.5 / 4 seconds

The Hidden Bear, now the reason I call it "Hidden Bear" is because you can use this ability for an initial burst of speed to come flying out of the trees, and catch up to your enemy. After landing your initial hit, your opponent should become stunned. That's when you can toss Ghost on, wait for Phage or Trinity Force to slow them, and begin your onslaught! Keep in mind, i don't like to level this ability much at low levels for its initial burst is plenty, and it really doesn't benefit too much from each additional level.

Optional Items

Core Items

Item Breakdown

+25 Magic Resistance
UNIQUE: Enhanced Movement 2
UNIQUE: Reduces the duration of stuns, slows, taunts, fears, snares, sleeps, and immobilizes by 35%.
(Gold Cost: 1200)
You will want to get Mercury Treads for its ability to reduce negative effects on you by 35% and the additional magic resistance. Even though this is a carry build, you still need to survive long enough to dish out the damage! Plus, you don't want to be sitting around waiting for the stuns & snares to wear off. =)

+30 Attack Damage
+40% Attack Speed
+25 Armor

UNIQUE: On hit, deals Magic Damage equal to 4% of the target's maximum Health.
(Gold Cost: 3800)
The Madred's Bloodrazor, is Udyr's primary damage dealing item. This little toy starts out adding 30 damage, 25 armor, and 40% attack speed, but with each successful hit it deals an additional 4% (of your targets total health) in magic damage. With the recent patch, it now successfully works with Tiger Stance!!

+60 Attack Damage
+15% Life Steal
PASSIVE: Gain an additional 1 Physical Damage and 0.25% Life Steal per kill. Maximum of +40 Damage and +10% Lifesteal. Bonuses are lost upon death.
(Gold Cost: 3200)
I like to get the Bloodthirster for the amazing amount of lifesteal and damage it provides. It really is an all in one item and can provide the most lifesteal in the game. What is really neat is if someone else on your team rolls a Stark's Fervor you will have 55% lifesteal!

+30 Attack Damage
+30 Ability Power
+30% Attack Speed
+12% Critical Strike Chance
+15% Movement Speed
+250 Health
+250 Mana

UNIQUE: 25% chance on hit to slow the target by 35% for 2.5 seconds; on cast, increases your base Attack Damage by 150% for one attack. (Now works with Tiger Stance)
(Gold Cost: 4070)
Trinity Force is Udyr's new best friend. It gives a small amount of damage, ability power, crit chance, attack speed, movement speed, and some really awesome passive abilities... As seen in the screen shots above I used to get Frozen Mallet, however enlight of the new patch changes Trinity Force is by far a better choice!!

+20% Attack Speed
UNIQUE Aura: Gives nearby allied Champions 20% Life Steal, 20% Attack Speed, and 30 Health Regen per 5. Reduces the Armor of nearby enemy champions by 20.
(Gold Cost: 2550)
The Stark's Fervor is a great item to add to any dps build. It provides a good amount of lifesteal, attack speed, and lowers your opponents defenses. The best part is it gives your entire team a piece of that action, really making you more valuable to your team.

+45% Attack Speed
+30% Critical Strike
+20% Dodge
+15% Movement Speed

(Gold Cost: 3395)
The Phantom Dancer is the finishing touch to this build. It provides a great deal of attack speed, dodge, crit chance, and movement speed. Udyr's natural ability to dodge stacks with this, along with the runes, thus making you almost invulnerable to physical attacks once you get going. You will love this item!!
