From the Shadow Isles comes a champion like no other. Standing eight feet tall, concealed within a razor-sharp armored shell is a creature known only as Mordekaiser. Some allege that he is a man, though none have actually seen what lies within the plates that encompass him. There are those who posit that he isn't a living being, but rather a particularly dark specimen of the undead rumored to infest his distant homeland - but such rumors are surely merely the ramblings of the paranoid or the whispers of the insane. What is known is this: Mordekaiser arrived unannounced at the Institute one day and, with the rasp of an echoing sepulcher, requested to join the League of Legends.

As if his fearful visage doesn't disturb enough, his touch bears a sinister plague. Those unfortunate enough to be caught within his grasp fall victim to incurable maladies. In fact, Mordekaiser seems mystically connected to sickness, as if it feeds and comprises part of his chilling essence. He has been seen stalking the slums of Noxus, drawn to the plague-ridden and diseased. However, there is something in his clever tactics, something in his noble stance, something in the tone of his unearthly commands that has led many to believe that Mordekaiser is more than just a foot soldier. Some see the distinguishing characteristics of a general. While many have learned to accept this unsettling possibility, a lingering question keeps them uneasily awake at the witching hour - If Mordekaiser is a general, what nightmarish army lurks at his command?

Des les obscures nous vient un champion sans pareil. Cet ªtre que l'on appelle Mordekaiser fait bien plus de deux m¨tres et est recouvert d'une carapace blind©e extrªmement coupante. On pense qu'il s'agit d'un homme, mais nul n'a jamais vu ce que renferme son armure de plaques. D'autres assurent que ce n'est pas un ªtre vivant, mais un type de mort-vivant encore plus mal©fique que ceux qui peupleraient son royaume. Il va sans dire que ces ragots sont le fruit des divagations de paranoaques ou de fous. Tout ce que l'on sait, c'est que Mordekaiser est arriv© un beau jour   l'Institut et que, de sa voix grin§ante comme la porte d'un tombeau, il a demand©   rejoindre la League of Legends.

Comme si son visage sinistre ne suffisait pas, ses mains sont porteuses d'un terrible fl©au. Quiconque a la malchance d'ªtre empoign© par Mordekaiser attrape d'incurables maladies. Mordekaiser semble d'ailleurs ©trangement li©   la maladie, comme si elle nourrissait et ©tait   l'origine de son effrayante aura. On l'a vu arpenter les taudis de Noxus, attir© par les cadavres et les malades. N©anmoins, son sens de la strat©gie, sa prestance et son ton lorsqu'il donne ses ordres laissent penser que Mordekaiser n'est pas un simple soldat. On peut voir en lui les traits d'un g©n©ral. Tous ceux qui ont envisag© cette possibilit© voient leur sommeil troubl© par une inqui©tante question : si Mordekaiser est un g©n©ral, quelle cauchemardesque arm©e peut-il bien diriger ?

Von den Schatteninseln kommt ein Champion, wie es ihn kein zweites Mal gibt. Fast 2,50m gro, komplett in einen messerscharfen Panzer geh¼llt, kennt man diese Kreatur ¼berall nur unter dem Namen Mordekaiser. Manch einer behauptet, er w¤re ein Mensch, obwohl bisher noch niemand gesehen hat, was sich unter dieser H¼lle aus Stahl und Dornen befindet. Und wiederum andere sagen, er w¤re nicht einmal ein lebendes Wesen, sondern ein besonders dunkles Exemplar der Untoten, die sein weit entferntes Heimatland heimsuchen. Doch all diese Ger¼chte sind sicher nichts weiter als die wirren Gedanken von Paranoiden oder das Gefl¼ster von Wahnsinnigen. Man wei aber mit Sicherheit, dass er eines Tages unangek¼ndigt vor den Toren der Akademie stand und mit d¼sterer Stimme um die Aufnahme in die Liga der Legenden ersuchte.

Und als ob sein schreckliches Erscheinungsbild nicht schon verst¶rend genug w¤re, ¼bertr¤gt er mit jeder Ber¼hrung auch eine schreckliche Seuche. Jene Ungl¼cklichen, die seinen Griff zu sp¼ren bekommen, fallen unheilbaren Krankheiten zum Opfer, und tats¤chlich scheint Mordekaiser auf geheimnisvolle Weise mit Krankheiten verbunden zu sein, als ob sie ein Teil seiner kalten Erscheinung sind. Er wurde gesehen, wie er durch die Elendsviertel von Noxus ging, und sich einen Weg zu den Verseuchten und Kranken bahnte. Es gibt jedoch etwas in seinen gerissenen Taktiken, seinen edlen Posen und seinen unheimlichen Befehlen, das viele zu der Annahme hinreien l¤sst, er w¤re weit mehr als ein einfacher Soldat. Einige sehen in Mordekaiser gar die unverwechselbaren Z¼ge eines Generals. W¤hrend viele sich mit dieser beunruhigenden M¶glichkeit abgefunden haben, nagt eine Frage unaufh¶rlich an ihrem Verstand - wenn Mordekaiser ein General ist, welche teuflische Armee steht dann unter seinem Kommando?

Hay quien dice que es un hombre, aunque nadie ha visto a ciencia cierta qu© se esconde tras las placas que lo rodean. Algunos aseguran que no es un ser vivo, sino un esp©cimen muy oscuro de los no muertos que se dice infestan su lejana tierra. Sin embargo, es probable que estos rumores solo sean divagaciones de paranoicos o susurros de dementes. Esto es lo que se sabe: Mordekaiser lleg³ un d­a sin aviso a la Academia y, con un tono sepulcral, solicit³ unirse a la Liga de las Leyendas.
